Actually I listened to all of the songs, read the lyrics and I am so full of feels. They said they were gonna give us hopeful songs and they delivered. I have tears in my eyes and I'd like to let it all out but my mom's around and I don't want her to see me like this.

That is really the only way I can explain why the mixing on wings is so bad. It's like they were rushing to realese something. Tbh they could've left it at the interlude and I would've been ok with that.

Date: 2017-02-12 09:11 pm (UTC)Not Today is best in the middle, heavily crowded, but not overpowering like BTS does best, though the beginning and end were not as fab as I would have liked.
Spring Day, as I've said elsewhere is nice! Definitely catchy, but I dislike their harmonization style for it, and it's a little soft and without as much emotional power as I would have liked.
Wings Outro was....well I would have liked the transitions into the new part t have been smoother, like it was with the full version of House of Cards? But I liked the addition a lot, it was fun and party.
And my fave song, is always the shortest song, because I ADORED supplementary story; sometimes simple hits home the best.

YNWA: Short and simple but effective. Rap line were slaying me.
Wings: They really should have left it the way it was before or made the transition smoother ._. I already loved Wings from before so I still like the full version anyways lol. This beat is so sick and I am forever jamming *O*

It was really touching, abd reminded me of my wonderful best friend who kept me from going over the edge, with a talk that was a lot like Spring Day's lyrics. I also adore the melody abd general mood of the song. Kind of got me to think about all the beautiful things going on in my life right now, and helped me re-center myself.
Not Today is such a fun song!! I don't get why folks are so unimpressed, but I guess it's a matter of personal preference? I found myself grinning and bobbing along to the song!
YNWA is simple, but great. The lyrics are uplifting, and the tune is pleasant. I have no complaints about it, though it isn't my favourite track.
The drop in this extended version of WINGS just weirded me out. It was random and jarring, and didn't quite fit with the rest of the song. Definitely not what I was exoecting/hoping for.
