iKON Dome Tour Announced for Kyocera Dome and Seibu Dome

While getting ready to start iKON's third Arena Tour, iKON Japan Tour 2016-2017 kicking off in Osaka today, iKONICs got a notification on iKON Mobile a short while ago.

iKON will be having Dome performances on May 20th at the Kyocera Dome in Osaka and June 17th at the Seibu Prince Dome in Saitama!

iKON debuted in Korea on September 15, 2015 and in Japan on January 14, 2016 with the album Welcome Back. They recently won Best New Artist at the Japan Record Awards.

In January 2016, iKON launched their "iKONCERT 2016: Showtime tour" which includes performances in Korea, Japan, China, and South East Asia. In Fall 2016 iKON held their second Japan Arena tour "iKON Japan Tour 2016." During the course of 2016 iKON sold over 450K tickets.

With their third Japan Arena tour "iKON Japan Tour 2016~2017" iKON will meet an additional 120K fans over nine performances in three cities.

iKON Mobile is the new iKON app in Japan that International fans can participate in too. They are using iKON Mobile, the Korean and Japanese fan cafes, and Instagram to communicate with fans.

I was expecting the Dome tours to start late Fall 2017/Spring 2018. I will be flying from Hawaii to attend their concerts at the Yokohama Arena from March 18-20th but I'll be flying back for the Dome Concerts as well. I think the April 2017 comeback is a go!

I so proud and happy cause I know they wanted this but I hope they get a new album, with proper and lengthy Korea promotion with variety appearances as group.

My enthusiasm for Ikon has waned so much, which makes me sad. I'm sure that so much focus on Japan is great financially, but I can't help but be bitter. At least they got an Instagram so I can remember they exist sometimes.
