BTS JIMIN COLLAPSES AFTER KBS GAYO SPECIAL STAGE

BTS' Jimin and SHINee's Taemin delivered a power-packed dance performance at the KBS Song Festival, but it is Jimin's on-stage tumble that has gone viral on social media. The K-pop idol has been grabbing headlines after he collapsed as he walked off stage following the performance.

After a spell-bounding dance collaboration that drove the audience crazy, Jimin and Taemin were making their way off the stage as the audience roared with cheer and applause. However, just as the two idols were exiting the stage, Jimin took off his earpiece and appeared to have lost his balance as he fell forwards on to the floor and the incident was captured on video by a fan.

Being the true professional that he is, Jimin shrugged off the fall like it never happened and later rejoined BTS as they paid homage to Seo Taiji and the Boys with a rendition of their hit song "Class Idea." Jimin's fall led fans to believe that it was a result of fatigue and many of them accused Big Hit Entertainment for overworking the boys.

This is not the first time BTS fans have accused the agency of over-exhausting members of the seven-member boy band. In January, the band was plagued by a series of injuries and concert cancellations, according to Koreaboo. This prompted fans to criticize the label for making the group work very hard without giving them a break and not making the group's health their number one priority.

idk, he looked wobbly to me as he was leaving the stage. and wouldn't he drop into a sitting/kneeling position if it was relief rather than falling face first?

idk, i've dropped to the ground like that after intense physical events, out of relief/excitement/naturally being exhausted - it just looks more like an intentional drop to me, but I guess the only person who could confirm it is Jimin himself (and if it was intentional, it was probably a bad idea to do it where fans could see, and worry)

He looked wobbly but i don't think he fainted. Wouldn't the reactions around him be more urgent? Possibly just dropping because of relief/exhaustion from dancing?

i dont think he fainted. im thinking it was like the feeling you get after a workout. like an accomplished exhaustion. if he were to really faint, you would see taemin and others more concerned as he was first going down. you can see a slight smile of accomplishment on his face as hes walking off stage.

btw that was one intense stage.

IMO, it just looks like Jimin being his usual dramatic self?
And while I don't really want to defend BigHit, because they definitely overwork Bangtan, they're pretty good when it comes to pulling the members from performances if they're not feeling well (not counting injuries like Namjoon's or Jin's hand)
So since Jimin was performing later, I really don't think anything was wrong. (+he looked fine in the backstage videos as well)

It looks like he really did collapse to the ground with his face upfront, D: but judging from how calm everyone else around him are, it looks more like an intentional body gag or something? And plus I saw this news on koreaboo first and I don't trust that website.. -.- I hope Jimin clarifies this himself on twitter or something ! Or rumours will go wild omg :(

i think he's just expressing relief that the stage was over, although he has been doing a lot of solo stages/extra performances this year.

im always extra attentive to spot tired and fatigued bangtan but i rly think that is not this case with this one. looks like he rly just flopped out of relief that the stage was over and judging from taemin's lack of concern it looks like they were just messing around

I wouldn't call it being dramatic.

I mean in cases like these especially in kpop where idols do faint all the time I think it's better to worry a bit than say brush it off like some fandoms do and never question the company.

Edit: That aside, a majority of fandom don't even think he fainted and are pretty sure he was playing around anyway. And it isn't even mentioned on some of the places I go for news.

I don't think he fainted either but he did choose a weird spot to do one of his "gags". I mean he could have waited until he was completely behind the stage if that was the case. And Taemin's lack of reaction could be because he also thought it was just him fooling around? Idk. The video cuts short. OP could have filmed some more to see what people around him did or could have omitted this part completely. I mean why worry fans for nothing if it wasn't serious? I don't think BigHit needed some backlash right now.
