Date: 2016-12-24 07:02 pm (UTC)Taehyun absence hits me especially hard whenever I come upon KangNam duets and realised yet again that they didn't have one in the JP tour this year.
I was really looking forward to it since they had duets for both 2014 & 2015, but didn't really mind not having it this time since there was NamSong's and there were solo stages plus there was vocal line in the KR side of the tour and thinking surely next year/time/tour.... only... there won't be anymore... and I get weepy every time that occurs to me...

I was so used to them not releasing material as a group (f YG), so I thought my love was waning (when it was simply that there was nothing happening for me to actively stan) but this reminded me it hasn't waned. I think part of what's making it hurt more is that I don't think it was mostly his choice, and the actions of YG in this whole thing. I want to be excited for new material, but it's hard when that news came so soon after his departure smh.

I will forever resent YG, and that entire company for giving so little. It's not like some groups where it's mostly people outside of the members writing lyrics/producing, NamTae did so much of that! It wouldn't take much to just... promote them, because it's clear they were fine with the making music part. Honestly, I hope the EXIT project has been dropped because it would honestly be gross to continue/complete it. Also, it's not the crazy stan in you to think it's one of the best minis of the year; though I'm also a stan, so maybe I'm just an enabler lol.
And np! I just started watching the series at recommendation of a friend, loving it so far <3

I hope since they haven't mentioned it and labeled the EXIT movement as a '2016' thing it's not going to happen but knowing YG's #perfecttiming we can't be sure until the shit (doesn't) hit the fan......

Date: 2016-12-24 09:04 pm (UTC)The only douchebaggery I can think of is from a couple of years ago on Win (about Mino), though again I've not been aware of too much recently due to their inactivity as a group. I think even if he were a total asshole with barely any redeeming qualities, it would still be tough because he's such an essential part of the group tbh... it wasn't like he's deadweight they had to carry.
I honestly don't think I could bring myself to support the EXIT project if they continued, it would just make me mad about what could've been and would feel like they were trampling on it; I can't imagine how it would make NamTae feel either. If YG can do one thing right, it should be that at the very least.

WhyG, if you have a person who can write compose produce what ever Baby Baby Sentimental and I'm Young in the span of a single mini why would you ever want to give that up, that's talent, and I would say so even if I didn't like the music because the diversity speaks for itself. I just hope it was his wish to leave and that he's better off now. It still pisses me off how the statements about his private life and health were all over his exit nopunintended.

NamTae loves music so passionately, the boy is deaf in his left ear and worked twice as hard at composing because of that. Even if leaving wasn't his choice, I hope it's better for him in the long run.
I know he's DJ'd post-leave, and he's also been spamming my IG feed with Tumblr aesthetics so I'm hoping he's cool lol
