I'm still laughing at the fact that Jin and Taehyung were not there when they announced they won Best Dance Performance. And how surprised they were. Kings of not expecting to win anything.

But anyway, congrats Bangtan! You earned this award and it wouldn't have been okay any other way.

lmao that was my first reaction to. they were probably taking a bathroom break since they didn't expect to win. it's endearing and also shows that they're not expecting anything just because they won big at the mma's (which they should cause they've been doing so well).

I was actually saying to myself seeing that TaeJin wasn't there "it would be funny for them to get Best Dance while TaeJin is in the bathroom" and I loled when I heard their name mostly because Taehyung had that skirt(?) on and I would've liked to see him trying to put it back on and rushing back to the stage. But yeah, they came 3rd for it so no one was expecting them to win it although they should have gotten the award long ago.

I feel like no one was expecting them to get anything big at these awards, but the MMA Daesang happened and I think everyone had the collective thought that "uhm.. wait.. this might actually happen this year." I mean even Namjoon was extremely nervous before the Artist of The Year announcement. Tbh it's been more than 24 hours and I still can't believe they won.

Damn, these boys literally started from the bottom and now look where they are! Look how far they've come! All the struggles they went through and all the hard work they've put into their music and choreography. All their efforts are finally paying off. This is a huge achievement. I am such a proud noona right now, them crying made me cry. They weren't even expecting to get this award but they did. They deserve so much more recognition. This was such an amazing year for them. Same here. I'm outspokenly cynical about award shows in general and Korean award shows in particular, but I was chatting with my ARMY friends over kakao talk while watching the show and I literally said "*holds breath*" when the award was being announced.
I'm happy they were happy. I've rewatched the clip a few times and seeing Yoongs sobbing always makes me smile cause that's what pure joy looks like :)

I know it's technically an opinion but I very much feel like I'm stating a fact when I say they just are producing the best songs in the world right now. Their music is good and as a bonus, they're all sweet open, humble genuinely talented guys who are breaking the stereotype of the 'created' idol band.
2016 belongs to BTS, and they deserve everything.
