The folks at JYP were very busy this week lol. Every week I look through the charts for this Friday in a past year and post the top three songs. Then, I pick out two more from the top ten as honorable mentions. Let’s see who topped the charts for the 3rd week of November, 2010.

#3 PSY “Right Now”
Pre “Gangman Style”, this is the song that I assisocated with PSY the most. I would love to see this live in person, his concerts seem like so much fun.

#2 Girls’ Generation “Hoot”
I remember that I didn’t totally hate this? I enjoyed this song, but the MV staring Super Junior’s Siwon was just okay for me. I really like all that big hair though.

#1 2AM “To You Who’s Not Picking Up The Phone”
I don’t remember this MV or song at all, but I do know I’ve seen those weird belted suits before, so I probably remember the live performances. The MV features Oh Yeon Seo in one of those dramatic KDrama MVs.

Honorable Mentions

#5 2PM “I’ll Be Back”
I don’t remember the MV at all, barely remember the song, but I can’t forget that choreography lol.

#9 Miss A “Breathe”
I actually remember liking this song and the choreography too. I don't remember much of the MV though.

I totally forgot, but last week marked six months of Flashback Fridays. I honestly didn’t think I would be doing it for this long! Thanks to everyone who checked out these posts for all these weeks and left lovely messages for me, I appreciate it.

Hoot really was a MOMENT.

Everyone looked good and had decent lines. Well, except Hyoyeon but that's how SM was doing her. IIRC she didn't even get a single line in 'time machine'?

So I went back to check Time Machine and apparently, only the singing line gets parts, apart from the chorus half-sung by everyone and the bridge where they share lines (Taeyeon + Yoona, Hyoyeon + Seohyun, Yuri + Tiffany, I couldn't see on lives if Sooyoung gets a shared part)

Wow I really don't remember a lot of these.

Right Now was a lot of fun. I loved the Hoot retro concept and their performances and performance outfits during that era. Sooyoung was just a dream <3 as was Seohyun. I used to love Breathe and the lives as well, the choreography was so much more difficult than a lot of the dances gg get nowadays! I loved watching it, even if some parts are a little weird.

AW YEAAAH! I love all this songs. I'm dancing like crazy to all of them (well except 2AM for obvious reasons).
The clothes and make up for "I'll be back" were so ugly lol
"Breathe" is the first kpop choreography I learned but just not on 2010 because I didn't know kpop yet hahaha
"Hoot" is probably one of my fave SNSD songs of their korean discography.

Breathe is probably one of my least favorite Miss A songs. I couldn't get into it.

Christ I'd forgotten about that.... Yuri was indeed waaaaay too thin (they were prepping for their first japan tour?) and Tiffany had this horrible shade of blonde for hair for a while :/

They are so gooood! JYP really did them dirty. Jo Kwon didnt train for gazillion years to be in a limelight for 5 minutes lol. JYP should just hire a famous composers and let 2AM do their job twice a year with modest budget MVs. With consistency, they will top digital charts and bring money to the company. What a waste. :(

I LOVE HOOT. It's really when I fell down SNSD's rabbit hole. I didn't care for the MV too much but the lives were amazing! And then they went on to release their first Japanese album and I still haven't recovered, lol.

omg still 2:00pm era was when i got into 2pm! it's what turned me into a hottest. it was the very first album of theirs i got. i cant is still a fave (and i can never listen to it and not be reminded of khuntoira) and dance2night should have been a single!! and 2am!! i miss them so much. they really really had so much potential to go so far. i will forever be bitter that one day isn't much of a thing anymore.

Hoot is underrated as shit. Sure, not one of their strongest songs, but definitely a jam and they had ALOT of great looks this era.

That 2AM track is one of my fave Kpop ballads lmao I still listen to that regularly for the dramatics of it.
