ARTICLE: "Hwarang Reveals Lead Character Posters And Details"

On November 2, KBS2's upcoming Monday-Tuesday drama "Hwarang: The Beginning" revealed individual character posters for the three main leads.

The posters feature Park Seo Joon, Go Ara, and Park Hyung Sik channeling their characters.

Park Seo Joon's character is described as being unstoppable like a dog and free-spirited like a bird. It also says he’s half crazy.

Go Ara's character is the only woman on the team, but does the work of many men. Furthermore, it appears as though she might be engaged in writing erotic stories.



Finally, Park Hyung Sik's poster depicts him as a "faceless king" as a person who freed himself from his fate of belonging to the high class. He also has an unexpected side to himself.



"Hwarang: The Beginning" tells the story of flower boy warriors who protected the capital of Silla. The drama was pre-produced and is scheduled to air its first episode in December.

After releasing individual character posters for Park Seo Joon, Go Ara, and Park Hyung Sik, "Hwarang: The Beginning" has also released posters for the other cast members!

In the first poster, Kim Taehyung (BTS's V) is seen playfully smiling as his character is described as a pure, free spirit.

The poster for Choi Minho's character Suho comments on his good looks. The character is also known to be a playboy.



Do Ji Han's character Banryu is described as hwarang with a personality that is rough on the outside, but soft on the inside.



Seo Ye Ji's character princess Sook Myung is unlike the typical bright and happy princess characters. Her character is described as lonely but cherished.



Jo Yoon Woo plays Yeo Wool, who is described as a man who is beautiful and fragrant, but is also sharp like a needle.



"Hwarang: The Beginning" tells the story of flower boy warriors who protected the capital of Silla. The first episode is set to air on December 19, 10 p.m. KST.

Definitely for the guys, but I think Ara is prettier than IU. Of course both of them are gorgeous so it doesn't really matter.

Producers -- boring drama with high ratings (weird). I was so pissed when Kim Soohyun won the Daesang for his role in the drama. I like him a lot but that role certainly didnt deserve a Daesang lol

The best part of that drama was actually IU but people will throw a Daesang at anything because Kim Soo Hyun.

Tho I admit that role was less boring than his YFAS/MoonSun ones.

Yes, his role is a loser and its funny since when you watch it, you realized it 'OMG, he's a loser' ahaha. :D And entertaining role but definitely didnt deserve a Daesang. :) And Joo Won got a Daesang for Yong Pal is another cherry on top for last year's Drama Awards for me lol

I can't stop laughing at the posters. This is already the third set I've seen and I still can't take this show seriously. I'm expecting it to be quite bad actually. They couldn't find proper wigs for all the guys could they? Lol. The only person I'm watching it for is park seo joon.

I hope this show is good. Park Seo Joon looks hot, and Hyungsik is pretty cute. I've never really been attracted to Minho though. Why does V always make that face. We'll see if his acting sucks.

I'm definitely checking out the first 4 episodes alone for Park Seo Joon and the production company behind it. And I think the drama will look better than the posters, the director did King's Face which was beautiful to look at.
