"Hwarang" teaser released

Producers of the forthcoming KBS 2TV periodic drama series “Hwarang: The Beginning” released the first poster featuring six knights Tuesday.

The poster displayed Hwarangs -- Korean for “flowering knights,” referring to young elite knights during the Silla dynasty that lasted until the 10th century -- walking across a yard smiling. Those Hwarangs are played by Park Seo-joon, Choi Min-ho, Do Ji-han and Cho Yoon-woo, and singer-actors Hyungsik and V.

“Hwarang: The Beginning” wrapped up filming in September and will air every Monday and Tuesday on KBS 2TV from Dec. 19.

I have laughed so much at this poster. At first glance it looked like PSJ and Hyungsik were reaching out to hold hands and that cracked me up. I just hope that this will be better than another pre-produced flower boy sageuk.
Also LOL at Hyungsik being referred to as a singer-actor when he's basically just an actor now and Minho not being referred to as one.

Short sageuk (16/20/24 episodes) are usually very fast paced. So you dont need patience to watch this one.

Erm.. this is one of the official posters, for real? HAH omg i laughed so much when i saw it on instagram last night. I thought it was a photoshop thingy made by some fan. Also, I thought park seo joon was reaching out to hold hands with the girl on his right... until I realised that was hyungsik. LOLL

The posters for this show have been really cheap/cheesy looking, including the first one where they were were all standing in a single line wearing black.

Im looking forward to this. Hopefully it isn't a big letdown!

I have bad feeling after looking at the poster esp after seeing Park Seo Joon's tragic hair. I probably will laugh when I watch the drama just by looking at their hair lol. It looks like they are wearing costumes rather than owning the looks.

Cheap/cheesy looking is probably for the best so we dont have high hope for the drama. People tend to enjoy things when they have no expectation. :D

I know it's not everybody that can rock this hair (lee junki and kwak dongyeon deserve all the praise lol), but their wigs look so cheap... if this is really what we're getting during the episodes... my god. I will only look at go ara.
