I cannot believe how good the camera work was during BST?? Like the beginning and the bridge with Jin's part were filmed so well? A+
The choreos for Am I Wrong and 21st Century Girl were so adorable. I can't believe they can be such dorks one moment and so seductive the next moment.

Am I Wrong was really fun. Almost died when I realized Jimin had that black turtleneck on, one of my male clothing weaknesses.
I noticed Jimin/Yoongi the most cause their my biases, but honestly everyone was killing it. Hobi never fails to get me during his "a lot a lot a lot" part in BST (he's just so damn intense w/ it!), and everyone having eye sex with the camera during their parts and aegyo during the other songs was killing me. In other words 10/10, would watch again, two thumbs up, recommended for all.

BTS was originally supposed to be a khh group and he was the only one of the original 7(I think 7? RM & Suga included) who wasn't an underground rapper, so he learned to rap from then on. You can hear him progress, experiment, find his sound through BTS' discography.
For solo tracks, he has 1 Verse (https://soundcloud.com/bangtan/1-verse-by-jhope) on BTS' soundcloud and the two solo tracks on Wings (Intro (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iJJSh-eEdRk) + MAMA). I think he's previously mentioned that he's been working on a mixtape, but there's no timeline on that.

Date: 2016-10-16 01:38 am (UTC)Personally, if I had to try and summarize what I think is going on between all the MVs/short films it would be something like this: HYHH era is about youth and the struggles a person faces during that time. In terms of MV plots, Jin is the only real person, and the other 6 represent parts of himself and different struggles (alcohol, drugs, crappy part time jobs, etc.). The WINGS/BST era is about the transition out of youth and into adulthood, which is also what a large part of the book Demian (the reference material for all the symbolism in the WINGS short films) is about. Another large theme of Demian is that every person has good and evil inside them and to truly understand yourself you have to recognize both sides. I think this is the main theme of BST. The other members are covering Jin's eyes (hiding the evil side of the world? of himself? from him), but slowly they get uncovered. Then, in the end Taehyung (who many believe to represent the evil part of Jin) reveals the statue that Jin kisses. I think the kiss represents Jin accepting that evil side of himself.
Of course there's a lot more specific symbolism you can break down (the 6 lily petals Jin holds are the 6 parts of himself, the apples in Jimin's stuff refer to a specific scene in Demian, etc.), but that's too much for one comment lol!! I've heard there some good theory blogs over at Tumblr if you're interested in more.
