as for the song, i thought it was a little flat until that first dance break hit, then i was more into it. i'm sure it'll be a grower, but on first listen i thought it was kind of meh. but i'm just glad they're back!!!!!
It has everything I like. I love piano, I love violin (i'm just a sucker for orchestras incorporated in electropop/rock/metal music), I like a good bass, I like when the beat drops. I was surprised by the transitions at first, but after the second listen it doesn't bother me at all. The build-up in the pre-chorus is really catchy to me. And Woohyun and Dongwoo's voices are everything in this.
The end is abrupt though. And the english parts, so unnecessary. Otherwise, I love everything else.

Also, props to the MV director because this was very well shot, the camera angles, the coloring, the camera movement, the transitions. It was very nice to watch.

Agreed about the ending! It was pretty random and premature. Felt like it was missing a final impact somehow....like how they say you should end with bang. Maybe some extra dramatic sound effect or beat.

You're definitely not the only one. I disliked the samples used in Bad but liked the samples used here. I thought it wasn't that disjointed? Flow was alright and probably cos people are not really used to listening to beats like these in an INFINITE song hence they are having a tougher time getting used to it? The song has elements of what I love in Infinite songs but it had no climax and conclusion, and the chorus didn't have enough punch. Plus the intro was kinda weird. I have a feeling that the lyrics are nice for some reason haha. But I DO love the MV and the choreo looks sufficiently dramatic hahaha. Plus they all look good~ Can't wait for all the performances and looking forward to the rest of the mini!
