as for the song, i thought it was a little flat until that first dance break hit, then i was more into it. i'm sure it'll be a grower, but on first listen i thought it was kind of meh. but i'm just glad they're back!!!!!
It has everything I like. I love piano, I love violin (i'm just a sucker for orchestras incorporated in electropop/rock/metal music), I like a good bass, I like when the beat drops. I was surprised by the transitions at first, but after the second listen it doesn't bother me at all. The build-up in the pre-chorus is really catchy to me. And Woohyun and Dongwoo's voices are everything in this.
The end is abrupt though. And the english parts, so unnecessary. Otherwise, I love everything else.
Looks like the members died and he wants to join them, and their ghosts are trying to protect him from the outside? Or they represent different stages of grief (anger, fear, sadness...) Idk, it just looked highkey gay (in a non derogative) way to me. XD
Also, props to the MV director because this was very well shot, the camera angles, the coloring, the camera movement, the transitions. It was very nice to watch.

the mv is DRAMATIC AS FUCK, even by infinite standard. and i don't even know if they're trying to kill or save myungsoo. the dance is gorgeous i'm in tears. everyone is so beautiful.

The instrumental is gorgeous. I just wish they had left the random audio samples out, they were disjointed. RISE VOCALIST DONGWOO. Sungjong is so ethereal I have so many theories about this MV. It feels like it's referencing back to Back, Bad, BTS ,Last Romeo and Kontrol but that's just my theory

Okay you know how in Back, at the end the girl is being taken away. And in the Kontrol MV it's implied that she died. I kind of saw this as the aftermath.Like Myungsoo is going through grief and the other member's are trying to pull him out of it. I don't really have a solid explanation, I need to do some more watching. I definitely got the BTD vibes! The dance set looked a lot like the garage/bathroom set from BAD, the flying papers reminded me of Last Romeo too. The car scene made me think of Paradise (its similar to the train part) and the whole fighting against invisible demons is basically BTD to a T

In general, there were some parts I loved but the chorus was quite underwhelming so it felt a bit flat. They look gorgeous tho, I'm happy they didn't add any unnecessary rap parts because Dongwoo's singing is giving me life.
