Date: 2016-09-01 04:40 am (UTC)i don't care about kpop idols wearing blue contacts from an aesthetic standpoint, but combined with the skin lightening in the pic, it's :/. He looks good still, but I really like the edits above where he has his natural dark skintone. Also, I get why people with brown eyes like to wear blue eye contacts from an aesthetic pov, but I think it's sad when people think brown eyes are boring. Imo, they're really warm and pretty. Although, idt that's why he's wearing the blue eye contacts here. It's probably an aesthetic choice (although if you want to argue white hegemonic influence, there's definitely an argument to be made.)

Aside from that his styling looks good. It's def livelier than his usually monochromatic clothing when hes doing his solo stuff.
