SNSD Seohyun, Yuri passed Dongguk Uni. entrance exams

SNSD Seohyun and Yuri, Bigbang Seungri have passed the university entrance exams for DongGuk University.

On the 5th, Dongguk university had said that "SNSD Seohyun, Yuri, Bigbang Seungri have all passed the last exams for the 2010 admittance to Dongguk University."

Seohyun, Yuri, Seungri managed to get a place in the 2010 intake for the acting major despite the 10.67:1 ratio for that course.

Prior to this, both Yuri and Seungri had both scored a place in the theatre department in ChungAng University.

i'm not trying to hate but i'm honestly curious, how hard is it for acting majors? idk, there's a preconceived notion that it'd be a whole lot easier than say...premed or prelaw majors or whatever. so if anyone knows...i'm curious. thanks.

I don't know if being an acting major is the Korean equivalent of being a theater arts major in my uni but the ones in my school have to take movement classes, scriptwriting, technical theater, directing etc, along with the core curriculum (Jesuit university ftw, we have to take philosophy and theology no matter what your major is). :D I have no idea if this is helpful, but this is my 2 cents. ^^

IA. i think every major brings in a level of difficulty vis-à-vis their respective fields, and because of the different types of involvement required for each (e.g., heavy reading and recitation for pre-law; memory work and labs for pre-med; endless revisions, practices, and directing for art majors, etc.) there's really no point at which we can compare and generalize. anyway, yeah, acting major is also srs.bzns.

No, Yuri's(1989) a year older than Seohyun(1990). I think she didn't get accepted last year, or chose not to apply due to activities with soshi.

Seohyun is actually a really good actress. I watched that horror movie show they did that got cancelled and her scenes were always the best. Way better than Yoona and it seemed like she was interested in it. I think acting is her focus as the school she goes to.

Also I don't see why it is shocking that someone that enters an entertainment company wants to study acting/music. Why would she become a singer to study psychology
