MBLAQ Mir To Enlist Very Soon .... Today

MBLAQ’s Mir has announced the official enlistment date for his mandatory military service


On July 12, he posted on the official MBLAQ fancafe, “The admission date for training has been set as July 14.”

He continued, “The suddenness of this announcement might take a lot of you by surprise so I’m sorry I couldn’t tell you earlier. All Korean men must enlist when it’s their time and I’ve accepted that mine has come. Please don’t worry too much about me.”

Mir concluded by thanking his fans for their love and support and promising to become a more mature person in the years to come.


He will join MBLAQ member G.O. who also enlisted quietly (and suddenly) early this year.

As I think about it, I hope this is the plan to drop JTC once and for all. Idk how long their contract is, standard is 5 years, right? They re-signed in the later months of 2014 and by the time G.O and Mir are out, their contracts should be up. It'd be surprising if Seungho didn't enlist after completing his musical.

I know they haven't been doing much and their last comeback was cut short. So I am hoping Seungho goes in by the end of this year and then hopefully when they are done with their service they can do more music, and not fade away. I love MBLAQ (even though Thunder and Joon left I still support MBLAQ).
