they did great during their set. they had so much energy and really seemed to be enjoying themselves.i almost lost my shit watching the livestream the second cypher pt.3 started playing. new york is lucky! hoseok needs to chill with the moan during yoongi's hong kong-line cause boy...it's the second/third time he has done it. ailee is such a doll. someone posted a cute video on twitter where she just ruffles namjoon's hair after he did the request and the lights go down. bless her for embarrassing him lmao.

the violinist jung sung ahn, who played one of their songs just before the concert, talked on periscope about how namjoon approached him and told him how great he was and that they watch his videos. he also talked about meeting the rest of the boys and how fun, respectful and nice they were to both him and the staff at the venue. so that's really nice :)))

jungkook & minwoo were cute. it's wasn't nearly as awkward as i thought it would be, probably because minwoo took the lead which was nice. jungkook playing with the dogs was adorable! also, this bit in the gif set made me laugh.

That gif set is even better because earlier Jungkook was like "if he tells me to call him hyung... I don't know if I can." Lol, he was so nervous. Minwoo is an angel for how disarming he was though.

And yes, I was at KCON NY. And my sister and I legitimately lost our damn minds when Cypher Part 3 started. I didn't expect it in a million years, and the entire arena was SCREAMING. It was amazing.

The bromance episode was so cute, Jungkook with dogs!! And then being restless and nervous while waiting for Minwoo to come. I'm glad Minwoo took care of him so well and made him feel comfortable. The part where they talked about Shinhwa's longevity....i really hope Bangtan is that group that can lasts for a long time just like what they had hoped for. Seeing their relationship and dynamics within the group i'd say its possible.

No joke but as soon as bts stepped out I had to cover my ears you could tell who most of the crowd went for. They did amazing though I can tell why people say they are amazing performers haha. And I loved hearing the cypher live omg!! Especially since hat one had my favorite Jhope verse of all their songs. Ailee and rap mon were so cute too!! Also comment ahead of me mentioned juncurryahn and I think I've fallen in love with him??? The save me cover was so amazing to watch wow - and I just heard his story of meeting bts behind stage and I cannot stop smiling you could tell how happy he was.

Yep. No shade to the other performers but Day 2 of KCON NY might as well have been a BTS concert. (Which I really hope means if they ever come back to NY they hold their concert at the Prudential instead of the PlayStation Theater because I honestly do think they could sell it out. ) I was really amazed at all the performers though. After going to EXO's concert in NY and being so disappointed, I was beginning to think all Kpop performances relied on smoke ,mirrors, and close up shots to be entertaining. But all the KCON acts had really top notch and energetic performances. I died at Cypher pt 3 as well because although I figure they'd probably do something special since they were headlining, I had no idea they would pull that out! Even though I was really hoping for Baepsae, this was even better.

And yes! Ailee was so adorable the entire convention. But her and rapmon made such a cute duo. I'm really hope with the way the crowd went up for her after her performance Day 1, she really gained new fans, and it wasn't just concert hype. My friend was talking about how she was really nervous about this performance because last time she tried to do a concert in the states, it got cancelled due to low tickets sales.

Also, I was front row during the red carpet event and my god they are beautiful irl. Their skin is so flawless, and they all are really handsome and tall. J-hope was hamming it up with the fan-service and I was loving it. He looked in my direction at one point and my heart almost stopped. V was oddly calm but he look so good. Jungkook is like godly.

aww the celebrity bromance episode was so cute! i'm just a bit confused because i thought the concept of the show was to put idols who are friends together, whereas jungkook and minwoo didn't really know each other.

i really love how much jungkook looks up to minwoo and he seems like a great model, he treated kookie very well. especially the part where jungkook asked him about the secret of shinhwa's success made me tear up a bit. let's hope bangtan goes on that long as well!

i'm a bit jealous they performed cypher pt 3 at kcon nyc, but they did great. they're so popular internationally, it's amazing

yeah idk. The show seems to be a mix. Some clearly have relationships, but the Jackson/Jooheon eps made it clear they were friendly acquaintances but had never actually spent time together outside of appearances/work related stuff.

they were absolutely incredible at kcon ny and the crowd was insane. obviously cypher 3 was the highlight, and i'm so grateful i got to see them perform it live.
my seat was wayyy closer to the stage than i thought it would be. jimin and jungkook blessed me with their presence and stood right in front of me. i was dead and buried. and oh lordt dem thighs.
they need to do another solo tour so i can give them all my money.

AH. There was a rumor going around that American Army shouldn't bother with KCON if they're just going for BTS because they were coming back to the states for their own tour some time soon, but I didn't want to miss the chance like I did last summer, so I went anyway. I don't think it was true, but if it is, I am ready to buy whatever VIP packages are available T.T KCON was my first time seeing them and I was so pressed because I knew they weren't going to performed any on the non title tracks or oldies I'm complete trash for. Also I felt kind of bad that the second day of the event seemed very BTS centric even though they weren't the only act. So hopefully they come sooooon

The bromance episode was so cute and I admit I smiled all the way through it. Minwoo was really nice to Jungkook and disarmed the awkwardness which was great. I also think their talk about longevity and their groups was really interesting.

I don't know who I have to thank for hooking Kookie up with Minwoo, but I'm grateful. I hope they actually have a last hyung/dongseng relationship because Minwoo is one of the most grounded figures Kookie could have with regards to surviving in the industry and keeping your head.

Also that SKT video was hilarious. Jin was like "This guy right here..." Lol

Their performance in NY was a blast, just as the same I saw in Paris, my babies are always delivering! For those going to L.A, enjoy the slayage you're about to witness!

After Paris I knew to bring earplugs to NY. (I live in NY but was on vacation in Europe when KCON happened there). Damn I was too old for this crowd lol. I wanted to leave during their set. Not that they aren't fun, but I think my eardrums almost ruptured with all the screaming since I forgot to put my earplugs in until like halfway through.

I will say tho, at both shows the fans really made the set fun. The energy from BTS fans is no joke.

Did you watch it yet? They aren't really playing it as a ~friendship (at least not yet). So, it doesn't seem as strange to me. It's coming across like a mentor-mentee, and they talk about the age difference quite a bit. And Minwoo knew it would be like this and that he'd have to lead things. So, it feels less awkward and more endearing than I anticipated.

Bunny on Flower Bromance was still awkward, but a lot less awkward than I think everyone expected. He went into it with the clear intention of taking Minwoo as a mentor. It would have been nice if he had tried to make a real friend on the show. However, the talk they had about longevity was nice. if after hearing what it takes, Kookie thinks they have it, I'm rooting for them too.

I thought the Celebrity Bromance episode was SO cute. Jungkook was so nervous, but Minwoo was such a great guy leading the conversation and putting Jungkook more at ease. I loved what Minwoo said about Shinhwa's longevity. My interpretation of what he said was that there comes a critical moment (usually contract renewal time) where everyone has to make a decision, and essentially everyone's desire to keep the group together has to be greater than any other desire (guaranteed success, more solo opportunities, leaving the idol life, etc.). That's a hard thing to have happen, but the best way to acheive it is through open communication so everyone's other desires are being met while they're still in the group. I hope BTS can be a long running group :).

4th time seeing them live and i'm still 😍 &heart eyes emoji; they were awesome at kcon ny :( it did seriously feel like a BTS concert lolol. sighsss they better come back to ny and perform at Prudential Center or Jones Beach or something (at this point, they're way bigger than PlayStation theater or Hammerstein Ballroom imo)

the fan engagement thing made me so mad and sad tho asdfhjkllhgh i ended up getting BTS audience (for $140 hahaha ha..). I freaking hope when they have their actual concert there will be hi touch and shit.
