South Korean boy band BTS (also known as the Bangtan Boys) just released their new music video this week — you may not have known they were your new K-Pop faves, but surprise, they are! Watch the video for "Fire" here, which, as the song's title suggests, features lots of things that are on fire. Also, wait for it, the choreography is on fire too, which is why the band has also released a special video that's all about the dance moves:

It's amazing! I can't stop watching it! (Rap Monster is my fave, but I'll hear arguments that Jungkook and Jimin are also in top form here.) It should be noticed that "dance version" alt videos are quite common in K-Pop, because the choreography is so often all kinds of baller, but this is just particularly epic.

At the top of my head: Bangtan Gayo!! Eng subs are available, not too long either (10-20 mins I think) and there are less than 10 eps. Quite current (Dope era) so they look similar to their current state lmao

Their bangtan bombs after that, Run BTS! (admittedly I've not finished this) and the American hustle life (which is... slightly cringing lmao but some people love it)

i mean, you sure can watch it but you need to be ready for severe second hand embarrassment Cx it is that awful. i've only seen parts of it and i will maybe watch it one day with my one bts friend, but only after getting ridiculously drunk first.

Honestly the only thing you need to avoid in AHL are the first 2 episodes, then you're good. It's actually hilarious and even heart warming on some episodes. Bangtan did a lot of embarrassing dumb things on this show, but then they do that on many other bangtan bombs too

AHL is really cringe worthy, but I think it's worth watching cause they've come such a way because of it. They learned some good lessons and rap line especially became more like their authentic selves as artists

I agree about "Save Me". Maybe my expectations were too high but I don't like the choreo at all. It and the camera work just seems messy to me especially the weird hopstock kicking they do during the chorus lol. I'm surprised b/c choreo for "Haru man" is really nice but "Save Me" is such a let down to me.

My favorite choreo to date is still Boy in Luv with Danger and WoH coming in at close second.

I can't stop watching the dance version/dance practice. The choreo is insane and they execute it perfectly.
Can we also talk about how the album already reached 200k on hanteo? At this rate they're coming for that disk daesang at the end of the year.

tbh. it's gonna be interesting seeing how that goes considering that exo is coming back next month and you know that exo-l's aren't gonna let that go easily, lol. i've already seen posts on pann recently about how they want to break a record this year by being the group to win disk daesang the ~most years in a row.

The thing is that BTS' sales for a regular album (this one is a repackage) are not that far away from EXO's sales anymore, just around 100-150k away. I feel that if they had released the 3 parts of HYYH last year and counted all the sales together they could have had a lot of chances of winning the daesang because pt1 and pt2 alone sold 300k each.

i'm afraid a disk daesang is impossible considering how big and dedicated exo-l's are (and i think exo has more public favour than bts does?), but i'm sure that by the end of the year bangtan's achievements will be impressive. I hope I'm wrong though! It's gonna be a bloody battle one way or another

BTS's sales for a regular album aren't actually that far away from EXO's anymore. Afaik they sold around 300k copies from each HYYH part while the usual for EXO is 400k from each album. They may can't win this year but I can see them winning it in the future if they get even bigger.
