BTS has rose to first place on Japan’s Oricon chart once again!


According to the Oricon charts on the morning of March 16, BTS’s sixth Japanese single, “Run (Japanese Ver.),” that was released on March 15 has sold around 53,000 copies on the first release day and topped the daily single chart.

With this record, BTS has now claimed first place on the Oricon charts three times, rising to first two times with “For You” and “I Need You (Japanese Ver.).”

The Japanese concert DVD that was released together on this day has also rose to first place in various areas and it has proven BTS’s popularity in Japan.


Previously, it was also announced that BTS topped the Japanese Tower Record pre-order ranking and the online and offline daily single sales chart on March 15 with “Run (Japanese Ver.).”

I liked Good Day especially the TaeKook harmonization parts. Surprised they didn't release that as a single instead. As much as Run is an anthem, they're not going to be able to perform that live as promo so why not just release something radio friendly like Good Day? It's on par with their other original Japanese songs.

i say this every single time but thank you so much OP for compiling this round up posts. it's much appreciated <3 i hear quite a lot of people saying that they didn't really like 'good day' but i really like it? to me it sounds a bit different to what we're usually used to from them. i'm so happy to see my boys doing welll in japan too! jessi looks gorgeous in those bts pictures of SK telecom.

I literally can't stop watching their CF with Jessi. It's too fun and the song is catchy as hell.

i really like good day, esp the bridge. tae's ~'til the end of life~ line omg, he sounds so gorgeous. it's really catchy too, and yoongi's "yep bro, yep bro" lines make me laugh so i really really enjoy the song :")
i also love butterfly in japanese (except the raps, their pronunciation seems off???). i think songs like butterfly really suit the japanese language, though that might just be me.
