I was never into any of the theories... it was so apparent there was never any real thought behind the concepts from the get go. Only when fans started theorizing did they capitalized on the furor and tried to string the three vids together. It did its job and sucked in a lot of new fans so can't complain.

I'm afraid you'll have to watch their prologue and their MVs for I need U and Run to understand why the fandoms is filled with theories righ now, lol (in order: I need U -> Prologue -> Run). It's like the three videos tell a story that was never really clarified and we all have a lot of theories xD.

This was stunning. There was way more things going on in the original version but I love the dark/unsettling atmosphere of this version and the parallelisms with the korean one.

Basically their jpn debut song "no more dream" had horrendous pronunciation that they got made fun of a lot. It was really lulzly: because the pronunciation was bad it sounded like they were clearly saying things like "bicycle" and naming household and cleaning items in Japanese in the midst of the lyrics. So you can imagine :D

ppl are saying youth is not coming back = death and there's some catcher in the rye quotes and 'save me from myself' in the taehyung scenes or the 'goodbye jin' behind him at one point. not sure about the nirvana stuff, but the same phrases are written in the photobooks as well. i guess there's the youth in rebellion image as well as cobain's struggle

the catcher in the rye thing got me thinking maybe this was a coming of age type of era and now they are done with youth but idk cause i remember RapMon saying they will still be 'kids' this year and will start showing a more mature side next year.

"In bloom" is also a phrase they've used since I Need U promos. They had tees made using the phrase. They coordinated and they all wore the black version (http://btsdiary.com/2015/05/04/picturefansitesnap-bts-going-to-kbs-music-bank-150501/) to Music Bank (warning: auto-play music on that site) and the white version in the pool ep of BTS Run.

i love her theories! esp the ones about the pt 1 photobook, those gave me chills. idec if they didn't plan it that deeply, these fan theories made the concept 10x better

i'm going over the new run one. i like the afterlife theory. the jimin in the bathtum one omg him struggling because he's stuck in a loop, taehyung's red paint, which i noticed too in the vid (and he looks kind of evil? insane?) as blood on his hands, hoseok's narcolepsy and hopeless namjoon egging them on are pretty good theories. idk about jungkook's and yoongi's. i've seen correlations between the kr run scene with jk and yoongi fighting, the mirror and roses are there too but i'm not sure what symbolism to attribute to it
