1) that Bangtan Bomb of Jungkook playing with rocks is from now on my favorite thing in the world. He's just too precious.
2) the concert and DVD are amazing. I watched the whole thing like 3 times this weekend and it killed me. All the live singing and all the band remixes and all the dancing and/or simply goofing around... For real, I'm dead and buried. The making of/rehearsal vids are great as well. These boys are so focused and dedicated and it really showed in this DVD ♥♥♥
Also on a side note, it's not my type to point fingers and laugh but I still snorted at that vid of Jungkook in the battling cage. Could it be he finally found something he can't master in a millisecond???

Date: 2016-02-28 08:20 pm (UTC)i've been watching the uploaded performances from the dvd all weekend and man... to see them in their element and being on their A+ game (performance wise and participating in the creative proces) is truly amazing to watch. the fact that all the performances were backed up by a live band made the songs that much more awesome. these guys were made to be on stage, especially hoseok cause gosh... i could not keep my eyes off of him. those talks with the audience got me a bit emotional. it was lovely of namjoon to use a bit of his time talking about how thankful he was to taehyung and jungkook for helping with the title song, and that he wanted people to know that they are the reason why 'run' turned out the way it did. you could tell it meant a lot to them that he said that.
also, it's awesome (and weird) to see them make appearances by themselves or in pairs, with jin going out to support kyungsoo and hoseok & namjoon presenting at an event. good to see bighit keeping their promise and letting them slowly venture out.

Also they should've listened to rap line; Butterfly was better without the rapping. Prologue Butterfly needs to be realeased. I beg.
I've been trying to stay away from most HYYH DVD stuff as mine is on its way to me. I've watched the subbed interview and what gifs i can't avoid on my tumblr dash.
Jin was adorable on twitter when his videos got cut. It was so funny to watch as it was happening. Didn't the same thing happen to their videos of their pool shenanigans?
Handsome car door guy is handsome. Hear the swooning. Not just screaming. Actual swooning happening right there.

Date: 2016-02-29 07:15 am (UTC)I have been following kpop for a long time and had decided a couple years ago that I'm way too old to be bothered with fandom and all these newer groups. So I check out the occasional song to see if there is anything worth listening to, but I don't listen to anything without a video, no album tracks, don't bother learning anybody's names, and I mostly show up on Omona to see if there is any news on some of the older groups. I actively avoided BTS because why should I care about these kids and frankly, the ARMYs all over youtube seemed an indication that this was not the group for a "mature" or "sophisticated" person like myself (LOL).
Two weeks ago, I had nothing to do and spent too much time on youtube and accidentally ended up down some BTS hole and by the time I heard Cypher Pt 3, I was done for. I had quickly gone from indifferent, to being being full-on BTS trash. I've bought the discography, learned the names and key personality traits, watched endless videos, picked a bias, etc... I totally regret not giving them a chance earlier, because I have wasted so much time the last couple weeks trying to catch up on my BTS knowledge/experience!
So to that end... OP, thank you!!! Your posts are a god-send to someone like me who is trying to consume as much BTS material as I can in as short a period as possible. Your hard work and well organized posts are making my life much easier!
