They sound great, but I don't really get the point of MR removed videos. Confirmation that singers can sing? They're only fun when they're terrible.

Hm, I appreciated these MR-removed videos b/c I can listen to Minho's singing voice even better. :') But apart from that ... yeah, I guess they're usually used to prove how good/bad a particular band/singer is.
Kind of on that note: Is it just me or has Jinwoo's singing gotten a lot better? I don't really see people talk about it, so maybe I just didn't notice it as much before??

Also: That karaoke performance is all kinds of heavenly. I wanna drown in Seungyoon's voice. Makes me want to see either one of them on Masked Singer even more! And I wish MPD also uploaded the whole bit of SY & SH singing trot!! :'D

ikr? Jinwoo's voice is so stable in these performances. He improved so much over the last year. I feel you on the Minho singing voice thing though. I'm using his "baybeh baybeh" cut as an alarm tone right now.

i like mr removed videos of sketchbook performances bc they're practically acapella. since sketchbook already edits the audio the mr comes out nicely

I get that. I enjoyed the MR removed Missing you performance, but it just feels really weird with baby baby and empty. I feel like the instrumentals in both songs contribute too much to the overall sound for me to enjoy an MR removed version as much as I enjoy the actual performance.

Sketchbook MR videos are truly awesome. IDK how they've done it but you didnt hear the underwater sound and it seemed like the singer is doing acapella which is great. My all time fave MR video is when Seo Inguk is singing 'No Matter What' at that show.

Baby Baby is such a good song, ands it's one of those songs that can only be fully appreciated live.

Tbh I never really cared much for Taehyun. I thought he was a good singer, but like in average kind of way. But during thhese promotion rounds he has sounded really good though. It also may be because he seems to be the center this time around so I'm becoming much more aware of him.

Yeah, I think Taehyun also improved a lot over the last year. His singing voice in 2013/2014 was a little too nasally for my taste, but he's working with a lower register now, and it's soooo much smoother.

I love Empty. At first I thought that song was really boring, but after listening to the album a few times, it became one of my favorites. It has staying power.

I love Sentimental, but I wish Baby Baby hadn't had a 19+ rated MV, b/c that song has better replay value, and more people seem to like it. I think WINNER could be doing better this promo round, if they had better promo and more clearly promoted one song over the other for music show awards. It doesn't help that Baby Baby is the one that airs on Sketchbook instead of Sentimental, although in the long run, I think it's better to have them perform Baby Baby b/c the audience will click better with it, and it is the better song.

If their ranking in the chart was any indication, people like sentimental more than baby baby,  actually. Sentimental still hovers around at top 10, while baby baby already dropped to around 30th place already

huh. i wonder how much of that is the general public, and how much it is fans streaming? b/c initially at least among ifans, more people were watching the Baby Baby MV and talking about it than Sentimental, but then a bunch of big fans pointed out that ICs needed to focus on Sentimental for music shows since Baby Baby had a 19+ rated MV, so it wouldn't be counted.

And their sales are steadily climbing. Slowly, but steadily. They may not kill it like their debut, but I guess we can say it's moderately successful?

Baby Baby live just makes the album version feel...inadequate. I wish the recorded version had as much impact as it does live. But I'm so proud of Jinwoo!! He was never terrible but his tone wasn't to my taste but he's really stepped up and proved himself to be a decent singer. He sounds really stable and confident ;_;

I want to hear a proper cover of A Little Girl from seungyoon now. I feel like he wasn't singing this in his register but I can actually imagine him pulling off the song. and it's crazy how high the OSTs are still charting.
