BTS are SK Telecom's Newest Spokesmodels + J-Hope and Jimin Will Join "Human Condition"

"BTS is proving their rising popularity by signing an endorsement deal with SK Telecom and becoming the new face for the company."

On February 16, SK Telecom revealed three pictures of BTS through their official Twitter. Though the images are slightly blurred, the hashtag #BTS implies that the group is the new model for the telecommunications company.

The three pictures have immediately received massive attention with more than 15,000 likes and 20,000 retweets.

Fans are especially excited to see how the group will be modeling for the company because they are seen clothed in high school uniforms. This will be a change from their usual masculine and charismatic stage personas.

HUMAN CONDITION

KBS 2TV’s Producer Won Seung Yeon of "Human Condition" announced on February 19 that BTS’s Jimin and J-Hope will join the program.


Producer Won Seun Yeon commented, “We’ll be recording the show centering around Jimin and J-Hope. V will also join them eventually.” He added, “The first recording of the show with Jimin and J-Hope will take place at the end of February and will air in the beginning of March. Just because they’re joining the show doesn’t mean the original cast members will leave the show.”

A media outlet had reported that BTS, with the focus on J-Hope and Jimin, will join the show “Human Condition” acting as grandsons to a grandmother who only has granddaughters.

“Human Condition” is a family communication program where people who need family meet and learn to unite as one on their own terms. The show airs Fridays at 10:50 p.m. KST.

Hmm, I’m not sure.
This translation (https://twitter.com/bangtanitl/status/700640124359483393) (from another news source) states that the group will appear, but Jimin and Hoseok will be the focus. I’m going to assume that those two will be the ones living with the grandma, but we'll see the other members from time-to-time.

Visual and personality wise I think both groups match each other so well. Also mostly bc I love both groups.

If Jimin is going on varieties does that mean he won't get a solo debut? I wish for a jungkook solo bc I'm biased towards him but I think charisma wise Jimin would do very well with a solo. :(

I get the feeling that Jimin is not very confident of his voice? I highly doubt he'd get a solo first. Jungkook would probably go first but not this year. Like you said his personality right now is not suited for a solo. Having to do promo by himself is probably his worst nightmare. Haha

I'm not quite sure what kind of program the Human Condition is. But if they're going for a heartwarming thing, I can see why they would go with Jimin and J-Hope. Since they're playing to the members' strength, I wonder if those rumors about Jin going on WGM would ever become reality. I'm somehow morbidly curious how that would work out...

Also, yas! I'm in for BTS becoming the next cf kings. Maybe bighit can finally fund a dongsaeng group so they can get some rest.

I just watched the first few subbed eps of the current season because of this (lol), just to see how it is.

If they're following the same formula, the two will be matched up with a grandparent living in a rural area, spend ~2 days/1 night with them—cooking/eating, housework, fun activities, etc. It's always with the same grandparent so they can bond more each time they visit.
It’s heartwarming and funny—the grandmas/grandpas are hilarious and blunt. I think Jimin and Hoseok will do well too (and I hope their dialects slip out randomly please please🙏🙏)

I only watched the first four eps of Season 4 (there are 9 eps so far), so unless they switch it up in the later episodes, what will probably happen is Jimin/Hoseok will be the focus of one of the segments along with their grandparent. There are currently 4 other "families"/segments on the show. And yeah, possible cameos? The soompi article says Taehyung will join them later on too.

I'm not sure if they'll participate for the whole season. HC seasons vary wildly and the last two seasons were project-based, so they were shorter than S1—but I’m assuming they’ll be there for the season. The show films approx. every two weeks which seems manageable (for now, at least).
