There are people on twitter asking Winner to leave YG/ put up or shut up for this comment, and I'm just baffled by their reactions. What do you think Omona?

I'm not bothering with the links to the responses on twitter. Y'all know the usual suspects- just look up Seunghoon there or go directly to their accounts- you should find all the ridiculousness there.

Other sidenote: Winner is finally standing up for themselves and demanding better promotions, and I am proud of them.

This comeback has been so stressful and painful. What makes everything harder to accept is that their songs are good af but their hard work isn't being appreciated and recognized with the lack of effort from the company. They did their part, why doesn't YGE do theirs? Like the unique teasers were promising only to run aground just as quickly. Appearances/guestings few far and between with hardly no media play. It's sad to hear the members validate all their fans' concerns but very impressive how they have been consistently direct and blunt and pushing hard for better promotions. WINNER is determined to fight and prove themselves but where is the support?

hoon has been shading yg since day1 from this comeback. I'm loving.
the lack of effort from yg with their comeback is ridiculous. I can't believe radio shows and varieties don't want them to be a guest (weekly idol, hello counsellor, these shows with weekly guests and that everyone and their mothers go when they've something new to promote). I just don't get why they're not going. the boys said multiple times that they want to go to varieties. this """"mistery/exclusive image"""" that yg loves to fake into its artists don't work when you need the general public to know them. maybe big bang and 2ne1 can stay doing only a few gigs here and there to promote, but not the rookies. I thought yg had changed its mind when I saw ikon on variety shows, but WTF IS GOING ON WITH WINNER?! seunghoon could make a guest appearance on kpopstar. like lee hi and akmu do every season. not a yg stan but i can see the logic behind company stanning. while others do it out of some sense of family or community or something, it's like people who stan apple as a company - they trust the products that have come out, and have concluded that all future products are gonna be as good. the brand then becomes some sort of philosophy they live by. i wouldn't chalk it up to just naivete, but maybe it's just people who dislike change or being overwhelmed (given how saturated the kpop market is) w so many bands.
