Wow, I can't believe Seventeen outsold Ikon.

Also, I don't understand the inclusion of A pink, Beast(though I love them), fx, and CNBlue for this. Girls generation, Bigbang, Seventeen, and Ikon out sold them in physical. Like, by leaps.

Isn't they always give out only one type of award to the particular act? Like you got digital one so you won't get physical and vice -versa , even if you could looking by the numbers? I remember something about it, but I'm not sure. Anyway, they just seem to try to distribute those pats on the head equally if that;s true lol

yep, that's it. there's only been one time that an artist has won both in the same year (cnblue) and that was during a year when there were minimal comebacks / it was a strange situation??? that hadn't happened before and hasn't happened since. i've read before that whoever deals with the gdas basically allowss companies with artists that did good both digitally and physically to decide which day they want them to attend on.

Yeah, but it's the same to how some of the people who won digital were outsold by others. Iirc Miss A or Baek Ah Yeon have some of the best selling singles this year by far yet they didn't win anything. I honestly don't know what criteria do they use because some of the people who have won aren't the best selling either digitally or physically.

Woozi spoke and everyone was way more composed than at SMA haha i guess it's cause they were told beforehand that they won? I will never forget chinaline walking in the wrong direction and jeonghan and chan's OMG faces ♡♡♡

Loved how every unit had its own spotlight and that one of Wonwoo's lines went to Coups and that akkinda perfomance version saw the light of day again! Jeonghan's mic though ;n; and what was up with that trap-turned-rock mansae thing, idk who those people on stage are LOL. Not my favorite special stage from them but i appreciate that they always try to change it up!

And i was jw...how come twice also spoke in japanese and chinese when seventeen and btob who sandwiched them only used korean? Is it cause they are marketed as a global group + jype wanted to give tzuyu a chance to say thank you?

Live was on point, singing and dancing all good and how can these girls always come up with new choreos for each performance. They work so hard! Also their speech made me cry a little, so happy to see the audience cheering like crazy for Tzuyu. Well deserved win!

I am so fucking proud of these kids. It makes no sense, how do a bunch of teenage boys from halfway across the planet make me this happy??? Jihoon is so squishy and cute and I'm so happy he got to do the thank-you speech this time. I just hope they get a chance to rest up before their encore concerts next month, because they look noticeably tired at some spots and iirc someone on reddit said Jeonghan has a cold/the flu? :( Boys, you've more than earned a break, please take it.

VIXX: I sometimes forget how good Error is. And like always, I enjoy the Chained Up performances. Their outfits were A+ as were Starlights.

EXO: I wasn't paying attention at first, but I noticed that Kai was sitting down during LMR. Why was he sitting down? When did he get injured?

F(x): Loved their performance. Krystal in the beginning was absolute perfection. The chants were on point, too. I wish they were able to perform a second song, even if it was an older one.

BTOB: Proving why they're such a great vocal group. The end of It's Okay, where Changsub and Eunkwang usually harmonize the high note, having all four of them do it was intense. Ngl, my throat got a little quivery.

B2ST: I feel like I haven't seen them perform in Korea since they were promoting Yey, but that's Cube's doing and I know why. They're such great performers. Hate them all you want, but you can't deny them that. Dongwoon's hair is out of order....and I hope he doesn't cut it.

Jonghyun: Adding that guitar to Crazy, I wish it was in the original. Gives it a really good kick. Him rapping, whew...*fans self*. I love the Jazzy feel to Deja-Boo. Shawols as always, being amazing with their fanchants. He's a great performer and his vocals were amazing. Side note, the color of his coat is fantastic.

Shinee: That opening to View was so good. I swear Key has been at least three different time eras in fashion at these award shows, but his vocals were pretty nice. The beginning of MTTM was bomb, too. Please release these intros, lol. Dude's headspin was super dope. He held his leg and threw in a hula hoop, I almost forgot it was a Shinee performance. Justice has been served for MTTM. I was worried I'd never see them perform it again, but I do understand why they don't. It's on par with Everybody type energy, but also incorporates movements of the camera for overall effect.

I like that all the comments on the Golden Disk Award are so much classier and no one hardly complains. Maybe all that craziness were already vetted out by earlier eoy award shows. The audience is always dead, though.
