I understand releasing snippets of the song to drum up interest (basically everyone does it now), but to get other artists to sing them just seems counter-intuitive. Unless the actual style of the original is completely different (which I suspect it might not be) all this is going to do is invite constant comparisons to the cover, and increase the pressure on Winner to top other artists from their own company (which they already get enough of anyway).

I am happy to see Lee Hi again, but I just wish it was because we were seeing new material from her, not someone else's.

Hmmm...this promo tactic is confusing, though I'm curious to see what they'll do with tomorrow's cover (same snippet? another song?), maybe that'll help form the bigger picture. Lee Hi sounds great, as always.

I don't know why I'm even bothering with this, but I'll just clarify this situation for the lurkers/people on Omona who are reading this comment thread.
1. Lee Seunghoon did not even post Lee Hi's cover. Seungyoon is the only one who did.
2. Seungyoon did delete the instagram cover because a FEW angry immature fans complained about it on his IG. If you check Seungyoon's ig now, there are at least 50 nice comments/ comments calling out people who say rude things for every rude comment.
3. It baffles me that you would generalize the entire fandom on the basis of actions that you are clearly unfamiliar with. ALL Kpop fandoms have a few messy stans (you should know). Going so far as to call Winner fans "imbeciles" is offensive and you're old enough to know better.
