I've seen a lot of people complaining about Jungkook's duet with Zion.T. I'm personally super proud and happy for him. That kind of song really suits his voice. He's come so far and he really deserves all the love. I'm really hoping he'll get a solo debut in the near future!

The Butterfly/Dope/RUN perf was really good too imo, though, I admit, I would have loved to see DOPE as the main performance. It's such a thrill to see them perform that song. Sad Namjoon was mia for this event, that broken butterfly ;_; I wonder if they had any last minute changes to make after Rapmon injured himself.

The dance collab, on the other hand, was really lackluster on some parts. (Call me biased but) BTS slayed their part and GOT7 were okay but VIXX were a mess and the real collab stage didn't really happen at all. Why put all these boys on the same stage at the same time if they're only gonna dance together for a little less than one minute??

Collab stages are almost always disappointing to me. They have so much potential to be totally awesome but often just fall completely flat and/or don't involve that much "collaboration" between groups. :(

Yeah they each do their own thing and not really well done. They should all at least dress similarly. Like it looks so off when one group is really casual like got7 and the other two aren't. In my opinion each group should be able to be told apart yet still show some coherence with their outfits. Honestly, it always just looks like these things were planned last minute.

I am such a proud stan. It's a huge moment for the little bunny. He sounded a little nervous in the begining but recovered nicely. He sounds almost exactly like his cover of Yanghwa Bridge T_T

some people here and on tumblr seemed to think it was not legitimate for him to share the stage with Zion.T and that Jungkook didn't bring anything to the song. The fact that lots of Jungkook's stans are pretty obnoxious on social medias probably doesn't help.

I personally disagree and found that collab beautiful but yeah, to each their own. I was super anxious too while watching the live broadcast but bb didn't disappoint at all :)

i'm a zion.t fan and i don't care about bts but i wanted to check out the collab and tbh i'm not a fan. jungkook sounded like he was mumbling the entire time. idk if he was nervous or not but zion.t overshadowed him. jungkook seemed like just an afterthought.

i agree that zion.t overshadowed him, but there aren't many singers (idol singers?) younger than 25 with enough charisma to stand next to him and not be overshadowed :P maybe Son Seung Yeon? they give off a completely different vibe though (she's not an idol tho heh). Jonghyun would do great but they're the same age and Jonghyun has tons of experience over many younger singers (and well, slightly less than a ton over zion.t as well). IU would be fine too, but again, she's been doing her job for 7 years if i'm not mistaken?

just to clarify, i'm honestly just thinking. i enjoyed the performance as it was because as a bts fan i was just really happy for jungkook, but now I started to wonder. Anyone else comes to your mind? I don't actually know that many idols, especially out of those who debuted around the same time as bts.

i don't know if it's charisma or not. he just simply sounded nervous and i don't think he has the skills anyway. it's not like zion.t is a technically great singer, he just has a lot of stage presence and charisma too. and people forget that zion.t is relatively new too. his debut album (red light) was released in 2013. this is his breakout year in the public's eye as well. i doubt he expected yanghwa bridge to do as well as it did, and then infinity challenge sealed the deal.

even though i dislike her, i thought wendy did fine when they sang together at kcon. i would really love to hear kang seungyoon perform this bc he has a wonderful vocal color and stage presence to boot. i can't give you any other male idols bc i follow more ggs. as for girls there are so many, ailee, soyu and hyorin, eunji, luna, kwon boa, yuji, solji etc. but idk why we're limiting the search just for people who debuted when bts did lmao. i'm just throwing out names right now, for all i know some of these people wouldn't do as well either.

yeah, he's been around for a while but this is his real breakout year. i started following him after red light and i never imagined he'd go on gayo daejuns and at the mama back then.

seungyoon is almost 22 too. i googled and jungkook is pretty young, maybe age is also a factor. there's also always a clear difference when a solo artist collaborates with an idol, especially if they come from a group. there's a sense of fish out of water if you get what i mean.

Barring the nerves in the begining, he sounds exactly like the Yanghwa Bridge cover he did last year. And he was probably chosen for this stage because of that cover. For a non-fan who has never heard his cover I can understand you might be underwhelmed. But as a fan who've heard it hundreds of times and for him to pull it off on stage with a singer whom he looks up to, it's a very proud moment to us.

"you called me a clumsy idiot? you're dead" never change, jin. jimin and jin's interaction on the fan cafe are always hilarious. i'm so proud of the boys. their performances were amazing. the fact that jungkook got to stand on stage with his idol is precious and he did well. it's not easy to keep up with zion.t because he has such a specific tone. jungkook held his own and i'm proud of him <3 i hope namjoon is doing fine. i really felt his absence :(

jimin's performance was just amazing. i'm so happy that he's able to show us him dancing in the style he is best trained in. i hope we got to see more of that in the future. that picture of him and jaebum is too much though. i can't handle it!

i'm incredibly happy for Kookie. I've been terribly emotional all day because he got to sing with his idol and it gets to me so much. And Zion.t looked pleased after the performance so it's even better.

Is there still no news on Namjoon? I've not heard anything and I'm worried af. I know they said there was no obvious damage and that it was just a precaution but surely they'd have posted something by now if there was nothing wrong?
I loved their performances but I definitely missed Namjoon. They works so beautifully as a group that to me it's really noticeable when one of them is missing.

They're always so funny with their tweets and insta updates and fancafe updates.I love how much they're on social media, it gives me life.

Also, the VMin recently has been sustaining me. Ugh, I love those two.

Jungkook's collaboration stage with Zion.T!!! I was so happy for him when I found out it will be him that's doing the stage. Started a little shaky but recovered nicely.

Dance line was awesome. When they started the jazzy music I thought they were doing TVXQ's Something again haha. Surprised they didn't do I Need U? Also I wanted to hear Kookie cover RapMon's part in Run. That backing track was too loud!

Overall, happy that BTS was treated well here. F U MAMA!

On a negative note, I think bts is getting some flak for them holding up banners during a seniors final stage. I'm sure they wouldn't have done it if BH managers instructed beforehand. A bit thoughtless on bts part too. Hopefully it won't become a big deal. Other groups behaved better. Sigh...
