BTS Manager makes threatening gesture towards Jungkook

In the Vine above you can see the manager raise his hand at Jungkook, while Jungkook flinches back in fear. Army is not having it and has taken to BTS' Instagram and BigHitEnt's twitter account demanding they apologize/issue an explanation for this.

the fact that the manager is doing this to the youngest - and minor - makes me even so angry. not that any abuse with the other boys is acceptable, but damn it, they should be taking care of jungkook...

On one hand the video is so short, and I've seen a lot of things get taken way out of context, on the other hand his reaction was so quick like he anticipated it, that it really can't be passed off as "taken out of context".

Big hit is horrible when it comes to addressing issues honestly, but this really needs to be spread so they can at least ask the members what is going on.

That clip is way too short to draw any firm conclusions, IMO. I do hope that K-ARMYs are involved though, as I feel like they're more likely to get a response from the company and obviously they're in much closer proximity to BH and the boys. I'm really hoping this is something taken out of context or a misunderstanding because otherwise this company is going to have a LOT of explaining to do.

apparently this guy has a rep with k-fans as it has been mentioned in another post. is he actually one of the managers? i know of hobeom and two of the other guys (the tall one with the glasses and the tall one that appeared with them on the 'run bts' episode) and the boys seem to have good relationships with them; seen fooling around with them, joking and them doing their jobs. but i know next to nothing about this guy and i have seen him around but never saw the boys really interact with him (please do tell me if i'm wrong).

anyway, i really don't want to jump to conclusions but it is worrying, whether it was real or not. some people are playing a dangerous game and taking it to far though by speculating about certain things and they need to be careful with that. i think most of us also know that you shouldn't judge a situation based on a gif/short clip.

Kookie's reaction just makes my heart sink tbh, imo it's obvious that he's anticipating being hit :(.

This is one more thing on a list of shady shit that Bighit is doing, there are also rumours that Bangtan aren't being paid fairly either.

I'd rather give the underage idol the benefit of the doubt in this situation than a manager that's a representative of a company that's overworking and allegedly underpaying the idol. Regardless of how short the clip is or if it's being taken out of context.

in saying that we don't know the context and we don't know if he was actually going to hit him? the clip is really too short to tell. i think before the entire fandom goes after this guy we should at least know all the facts beforehand. At the same time, it's not v surprising that idols are being mistreated by their own company.

To those who are questioning about the validity of the actions/the clip is too short to be assessed, this is one of the things where you have to consider the k-fans reaction to it. There had been complaints about a manager who is rude to the boys, in airports and during schedules itself. I remember a fanacc of Singaporean fans who bumped into them on the streets said that the boys were scared by a manager.

A lot of stuff are kept on the down low but k-fansites, who must've noticed these things more than what ifans could from off screen, are beginning to pull receipts on BigHit's mistreatment on the boys. I hope they'll take action on this, which I doubt cos BigHit never takes responsibility

Have solid evidence before you get to the stage of trying to contact the company. This could end up badly, even if he hasn't actually done anything wrong and everyone will just be like "How was I supposed to know? Anybody would react that way after seeing what I saw!". The video is short, the video is shaky, you have no knowledge of their personal relationship or the context of what's happening. Also, flinching is instinctive. Someone who has never hit you could raise a hand to you and you would probably still flinch.

This was (still is) very upsetting and it definitely warrants a response from BigHit. But I've had it with all the international fans flying off their handles making all sorts of accusations/projections about Jungkook's upbringing and parents. That is stepping way over the fucking line.

It's almost 10am in Korea and since it's still all quite on the social media front, I'm hoping they're preparing some kind of response right now. It would be a huge mistake for BigHit to try the ignore and hope it'll go away tactic with this.
