No Criticism for HongKi's Acting?

When a musical artist takes the course of being an actor or an actress, it is common for them to face strict criticism of the viewers. It happened to Yoon EunHye (Baby Vox), Sung YuRi (Fin K.L), and Yoon GyeSang (G.O.D). However, it seemed to slide past F.T Island's Lee HongKi, who stars in the new drama You're Beautiful.

In fact, instead of being criticized, HongKi has received numerous compliments toward his acting.
Why? It's because You're Beautiful is NOT HongKi's debut drama.





His first debut was in 2002, in a children's drama called Magic Kid Masuri, then starred in two other dramas in 2004 and 2005.

Even from the very beginning of the drama, viewers did not see any awkwardness in his acting, and complimented on how natural it looked. As HongKi plays an idol in the drama, which he already is as the vocal of F.T. Island, it may have been much more easier for him to act. Viewers have high expectations for him the rest of the drama and in future ones as well.

OMG, I totally love this drama. It's hardcore cute. Hongki is so natural and good in this character, I'm surprised he's NOT a veteran. Every line is just delivered perfectly and hilariously.

this is probably the one drama that has got me addicted to it from the start.
but of the hype of dramas usually fade after the second episode.
but i think this drama has just that perfect blend of writing, producing and acting to make it one of the greatest dramas of the year.

i think the song their band plays is really good too. this type of band drama kinda reminds me of the wonders with that thing you do.

Honki is a lot better than I expected. the acting can go way too over the top with that kind of character, but he handles it pretty well.
And he has fantastic expressions, he's hilarious to watch.
