ah, well i found a pack of 5 chinese characters practice notebook that is 5 dollars, but i think they would be small? How many pages does this one have?

*edit: So these are textbooks? I thought they're just excercise books with squares for you to practice on. No wondered they're more expensive than the practice book. ( Aliexpress has them so cheap, those kids writing book)

Oh, I also started last year lol, though I'm learning it in Uni so our professor started us on writing since first semester @_@.

I just want to paint on rice paper LOL. They're cheap rice paper but serves well with a brush pen for practicing writing.

I would just like to applaud you guys for picking up Chinese as a foreign language. I'm always in awe of people who learn, as adults, to read and write Chinese. Speaking it is one thing but learning to read and write it is a whole different level. It isn't like other languages that have alphabets, and every character is different.

Even for me, someone who grew up learning it (in Singapore we are required from day 1 of formal education to study both English and our mother tongue), I tend to think every now and then, "How the fuck did I even learn to read that?"
