These are the results of a poll held in July on the BTS Japanese fanclub page, along with Bangtan's commentary for each of the 7 questions. The highlights include Kakao Talk antics, bathroom habits, a future bangtan bomb and romantic bangtan. The interview is exactly what you'd expect from them.

V: The result of the poll is spot on. How do A.R.M.Y know this much?
J-Hope: They really understand [us].
V: But Jungkook uses them a bit.
Jin: Really? I’ve never even seen Jungkook use Kakao Talk.
Suga: Speaking of Kakao Talk, there are stamps of us, but even if I send them I only use my own face.
Jin: I also only use mine.
V: Me too!
Rap Monster: I haven’t even downloaded them.
Everbody: (laughter)
J-Hope: That’s so heartless! (laughs) At least download them!
V: Rap Monster’s stamps are super cute.
Jin: Look, the three people at the bottom are suddenly only in the double digits (laughs).
Rap Monster: Those three really don’t use emoji and don’t text either.
Jin: J-Hope at number 1 actually also texts a lot, but he also ignores messages a lot…
J-Hope: Ahaha. I only say what I want to say and then don’t listen to people’s responses.
V: It says the reason for me is ‘He seems like he likes cute things’, and I really do like cute emoji and use them a lot! On the other end of the spectrum is Suga.
Jimin: Suga doesn’t even type characters. All I ever get are voice messages.
Jin: The bottom three are also the ones who don’t use Kakao Talk.
Jungkook: The ranking of people who will read messages and not reply (laughs)
Jimin: Rapmon has notifications for our group chat turned off. When I sent a message while we were in the same room, his phone didn’t make a sound. I was like “Huh? Why isn’t it vibrating?”…
Suga: Yeah, I turned them off, too (laughs)

Suga: That’s pretty accurate, too. Unexpectedly, Rap Monster also hates scary things.
Rap Monster: Yeah. But people scare me more than ghosts.
Jungkook: That’s because ghosts are fake. I hate insects more than ghosts.
Jin: I hate both….
J-Hope: Jimin’s also a scaredy cat.
Jimin: Ghosts are scary…
V: A.R.M.Y’s opinion is also ‘Jimin is so pure so he’d probably be afraid’.
Jimin: Yeah, I’m pure, right?
Rap Monster: The salon we go to is called “Pure*”. That’s about as close to pure as we get.
(*T/L note: the salon’s name is “Sunsu”, the kanji for which mean pure/genuine. It’s a pun.)

Jin: The reason why people don’t think it’d suit me is ‘I can’t imagine him with a shaved head using his pink phone’…

Jimin: There were also a lot of votes saying Jungkook couldn’t pull it off.
Jungkook: I’ve shaved my head before, too. In elementary school.

Jin: Why am I number 1?
Rap Monster: There are many who said the reason is ‘He seems like he cares about his appearance a lot’. Also ‘He seems like he would drink wine in the bathtub’.
Jin: WINE!?
V: I can totally see Jin doing that. That’s the kind of image he has (laughs).
Suga: Actually, I tried that when we were in Kota Kinabalu, but I only made me dizzy…
Everybody: !?
J-Hope: We’re all lightweights so things can get kind of dangerous! (laughs)
Jungkook: There are some saying ‘Suga seems like he would sleep in the tub’.
Suga: That is correct.
Jin: You really do that, don’t you.
Jimin: He sleeps until the water gets cold.
J-Hope: For Jimin it says ‘He seems like he would check out his body a lot’. It’s true, he also checks his abs (laughs).
V: Since he’s lost his abs he also works out in the bathroom.
Jimin: Since it’s for the job, it can’t be helped, right? I am just professional.
Jin: But the one who actually takes the longest is Jungkook. If someone is in there with him he doesn’t take that long, but if he’s alone he’ll shower for like an hour. [T/L note: presumably he means with him in the bathroom, but who really knows with them…]
Jimin: He takes forever. What do you do in there?
Jungkook: That’s a secret.
Suga: It has been said many times in interviews that Rap Monster doesn’t take long [that’s why his rank is low].
Jin: You don’t wash your hair with body soap or something [to save time], do you?
Rap Monster: No! (laughs)

Jungkook: Rap Monster is really organized. He’s the one who uses his days off the wisest.
Rap Monster: But that doesn’t go for homework. I’m the type who does all of it two days before the deadline because it‘s so bothersome.
Suga: I didn’t do my summer homework even once.
Jungkook: Me neither.
Rap Monster: These people have never done their homework. At least I do it eventually (laughs).
Jimin: I would also pull all-nighters and just go all out. Jin is very diligent. Out of the members, he’s the one who’s got it together the most.
J-Hope: He also does all his college assignments properly.
Jungkook: Why am I so high up in the ranking?
Suga: Because ‘he seem like he would get things he doesn’t like out of the way first’, it says. In reality, Jungkook is the kind of person who just pretends the things he doesn’t like don’t exist.
Jin: He erases the things he doesn’t like from his memory.
Rap Monster: He erases them from this world.
Jungkook: True, true!
V: It says about Jungkook ‘He seems hard on himself’
Jimin: That is not true at all.
Jin: He is super soft on himself. (laughs)
V: I have 14 votes!
J-Hope: Those are sympathy votes. (laughs)
Rap Monster: It says ‘He seems like he would go to the pool and just play all the time’…what kind of image does V have? Well, it’s true, though. (laughs)
V: Ahaha.

Jungkook: Suga and I will definitely be at the bottom.
J-Hope: Yeah, Jungkook probably couldn’t pull off something like that.
Jungkook: I might not be able to plan a surprise, but maybe I could cook for her.
V: You’ve been learning how to cook by watching Jin, right?
Jin: Jungkook is a good cook!
Rap Monster: I think Jin would be good at surprises.
Jin: I can’t do things like that at all.
J-Hope: Our results don’t vary much from the poll, do they. But when asked who seems bad at planning surprises, Jimin got the most votes.
Suga: Probably because he has such an inexperienced image.
Rap Monster: Because he doesn’t have any experience with love.
Jimin: When did I ever say that? (laugh)
Jin: The reason is ‘He would give the surprise away’. If he was planning to surprise her with a homemade lunchbox, he’d totally ask something like “What do you like in your lunchbox?” (laughs)
J-Hope: This says ‘V would probably do something that regular people wouldn’t think of’.
Suga: Like singing “Kohae*” in Myeongdong**? (laughs)
Jungkook: There was such a “confession time” on school trips, wasn’t there.
Everybody: Yes!
Jin: I went to an all boys high school, so we didn’t really have that…
Suga: Same…(laughs)
(*T/L 告解/고해/Kohae (Confession) is apparently the standard song in Korea to confess to someone. **Myeongdong is a shopping and tourism district in Seoul that gets super crowded.)

Jimin: Suga also has a lot of votes against him. This says ‘Have you ever run even once in your life?’
Suga: Of course I have! (laughs) I am so fast, I even competed in track and field tournaments in middle school.
Jin: I think I’m faster than Rapmom.
Rap Monster: Nah, I’m faster than you.
Suga: You should race each other at the Han river. My money’s on Jin.
Jimin: Agreed.
J-Hope: I think I’ll go with Rapmon.
Suga: Now I really want to to know the outcome of that. Let’s make this a Bangtan Bomb. (laughs)

this was so much fun to read. i could actually imagine them talking while reading the answers. namjoon's answers had me smiling at times.
the fans not being far off means to me that the boys really do act like themselves and don't pretend to be someone else. we'll never know them a 100% (like you don't with most people) but it's lovely to see that what we get is not far off from the truth.
