I actually went to the LA show with people who didn't really know anything about kpop or Big Bang and they all had a great time. It's always interesting to hear about other people's concert experiences because things are always different even though it's basically the exact same show every time.

I was going to go to the LA show but I couldn't get the time to go sadly. I kind of regret it now honestly, but I guess I'll just hold out with my hopes and prayers of having a Taeyang solo concert closer than San Francisco where I can't even buy tickets :|

yay a 17 fan on the podcast. haley has such a cute voice

taeyeon's solo isn't everyone's cup of tea, but it is def Koreans cup of tea lol. the hipster movie opening-esque genre plus a few ballads and korea is all over that.

though i kinda ignore this in the past, but i feel like kiara could at least listen to music outside of her favs so she could offer at least an opinion, otherwise she doesn't offer much to the podcast really. like if youre gonna do a podcast, at least go over the material? just a bit of constructive criticism .

i feel you haley on the whole ikon getting in there just b4 the deadline for the rookie awards. my 17 stan heart is still bitter

Yeah I feel you on the Taeyeon thing, again I'm hyper opinionated, but again I'm only full of opinions that's all when it comes to music. Taeyeon's solo bores the living hell of out me, but I can see why people love it. I live in a world where Lana Del Rey is still continuing to be relevant by catering to hipsters with her lack luster vocals but interesting vocal tone. At least in this song Taeyeon does show she is a talented singer even if the song isn't my cup of tea. She also looks good and looks comfortable doing it so that's good keep doing you girl.

I'm a little surprised people are so upset about the 17 thing with iKON wedging in honestly. Did everyone feel that 17 was the shoe in to win? Cause I was under the impression that GFriend was going to win hands down if iKON didn't come in?

Lol I don't think we ever expected 17 to win cause pledis is shit, but i guess they exceeded expectations with them writing their own music and doing their own choreo, so we had the tiny bit of hope that they might win best male rookie or something

The whole thing with Kangin is just disgusting because the whole senior/ junior culture is clearly why he was able to get away with what he said to Amber and lovelyz. But I'm not really surprise since Kangin has such a long history of being a douche. He used to hit his members and whatnot. Why does it seem that SM a bundle of people who have shitty personality? I have no clue. No one seems to filter themselves at all.

The things that gets me is that Amber who grew up in America has to kind of hold back and not say anything. Just take it, because if she did say something back, it would probably cause heat because she spoke back to a senior. Donghae from what know has done something in the past where he had cursed at his fans when he and super junior was swarmed by fans at an airport in Beijing. That was back in 2007, he has been pretty clean since, especially compare to his bandmates. Donghae mostly keeps to himself and that's what I think helps him.

Oh I forgot about that thing with Donghae, I think those fans deserved it though, the SM fan clubs are notoriously wild which is imo why they have the worst antis too. Groups with more chill fanbases never deal with the same kind of anti heat that groups like SM groups, or Big Bang had to deal with. I wouldn't mark Donghae for cursing out some wild fans, probably deserves a hug to be honest.
