Yunho & Jaejoong FINALLY cross paths today

Fans anticipated and hopeful for this to happen.

TVXQ's Yunho and JYJ's Jaejoong have finally crossed paths in public today at "13th Ground Forces Festival Opening Ceremony" where Yunho, wearing a red uniform serves as the host and Jaejoong, in black, gives a live performance.

Fans on the scene have shared accounts, aside from fantaken photos, that Yunho is smiling and clapping during Jaejoong's performance. Although there are no direct interactions between the two, fans are overwhelmed to have seen the two on the same stage and acknowledge the presence of each other.

They comment, "It took 6 years to have these two in one photo.","This moment will go down the memory lane.","I hope this is the start of something new.","This makes me so happy." and so on.

Yup, my super-BFF from school is no longer my super-BFF as our lives took us in different directions and there was also a fairly minor falling out involving other people that made for a few years of awkwardness, but we have a chat when we see each other and I know what her family members are up to etc. I regard her now as an old friend, not a particularly close one, but I'm pleased to see her when it does happen which is usually on other people's special occasions. That's what this looks like to me - no hard feelings, pleased to see each other, but not running into each other's arms and weeping and declaring undying love or whatever the mad stans are looking for.

Exactly, i just find hypocritical that people critizice crazy yunjae stans for reaching when they are here reaching in the opposite direction with the 'omg so awakwarddddd' 'omg so weirdddddd' when it wasn't like that at all, they look pretty comfortable and pleased, or well at least Jaejoong was evidently pleased.

I don't know the status of their friendship but looking at the pictures they look pretty happy talking, they were more than BFF they were practically family for years so this occasion both being int he same stage was probably exciting for them, or at least Jaejoong was excited. lmao he is so easy to read, not sure about Yunho because he had a frowny face because the sun was hitting him right in the face but he seemed pretty pleased too.

Honestly, with or without Yunho there, JJ is pleased to be performing again in the army, he has been pleased performing and rehearsing with his unit, so I wouldn't say it's due to Yunho that he's pleased. He seemed happy in the army overall, and he enjoyed his time with his unit. I understand what you're saying, but at the same time, your post is read as if JJ is only happy because Yunho is there. Which is shipper land sounding right now.

With that being said.

I'm glad they met and have a few words to tie up loose ends.

I was talking about this moment in particular, not about Jae's whole career in the army so far. I find it really annoying how one must have to make silly disclaimers about this like "NOTE: I AM NOT SAYING HE WASN'T HAPPY BEFORE I AM NOT A YJ DELUSIONAL SHIPPER!!!11!!1"

lmao their interactions were not of people who just met for the first time in 6 years tbqh.

I have been a fan of them since the beginning, 10 years and counting, my bias is Yoochun but idgaf about the lawsuit I support and love all five of them. I don't have time to worry about JJ/YH fans who are extra sensitive about this issue and nitpick about every little thing someone writes because they refuse to acknowledge the fact that they are in good terms even before this interaction and basically crumbles the whole narrative of stans "they are strangers and hate each other to death"

(I mean OBVIOUSLY I am a Yunjae shipper because I am happy to see a current member of TVXQ and JYJ together)
