Fans anticipated and hopeful for this to happen.
TVXQ's Yunho and JYJ's Jaejoong have finally crossed paths in public today at "13th Ground Forces Festival Opening Ceremony" where Yunho, wearing a red uniform serves as the host and Jaejoong, in black, gives a live performance.
Fans on the scene have shared accounts, aside from fantaken photos, that Yunho is smiling and clapping during Jaejoong's performance. Although there are no direct interactions between the two, fans are overwhelmed to have seen the two on the same stage and acknowledge the presence of each other.
They comment, "It took 6 years to have these two in one photo.","This moment will go down the memory lane.","I hope this is the start of something new.","This makes me so happy." and so on.

Is it just that they're in the same area together? I mean, they live in the same city, in the same industry, with an overlapping social circle... they've certainly crossed paths and/or been capable of meeting if they wished it. Why is their military duty in the same place suddenly special? Only because we get to see it? That strikes me as sad more than anything...
Honestly, the YunJae banner stuff makes me really uncomfortable and a bit grossed out.
WHAT AM I MISSING?!
Also props to the troupe of dancing dudes. They rock!

Date: 2015-10-02 05:04 am (UTC)idk what to feel about that yunjae banner but meh. it reminds me of the jyj concert that happened in my city a while back and these yunjae shippers literally brought banners and /photo/ banners of the ship and were parading around the venue. the shippers and other fans who didn't appreciate them being there almost got into a fight and i was just standing there laughing like wow this is really happening i feel like i'm in a fanfic.
