Cast: Joo Won, Kim Tae Hee, Jo Hyun Jae, Chae Jung Ahn, Jeong Wung In

Plot: Kim Tae Hyeon (Joo Won) is a talented surgeon. Desperate for money to pay his sister's medical bills, he adopts the code name Yong Pal and offers his medical skills to those in need of medical attention but who cannot do so publicly, dealing with gangsters and corrupt plutocrats. It is while making such a house call that Tae Hyeon rescues "sleeping beauty" Han Yeo Jin (Kim Tae Hee), a chaebol heiress, from a medically-induced coma, leading to unintended consequences.

yeah i think 2015 had plenty of winners, I'm surprised people are saying otherwise, but then I tend to know what I like and choose well. It's rare for me to get super disappointed since If I dislike something I usually figure that out within 2 eps lol.

I mean Ex Gf Club, Producer, Kill Me Heal Me, Heart to Heart, Heart it Through the Grapevine, Angry Mom, Ho Goo's Love, Mask, and currently Oh My Ghostess are all pretty damn good and that's not counting late 2014 dramas like Healer.

I do agree the most recent dramas, the ones that started in summer mainly, have been...not so great haha. Not even flat out terrible just you know mediocre for the most part.
I never watch stuff on OCN (if i wanted ~gritty dark~ tv I can just turn on any american drama currently airing right now lol) and JTBC can be very hit or miss. (when it hits tho it really hits!) so I can't really comment on the quality of their programming this year but as for tvn and the big 3 it's been a year that's made up of boring cliche claptrap and glittering rare gems. It's practically whiplash haha.

I sometimes watch things on OCN. Not all the time but they are big on crime and the ones I tend to check out are interesting.

I haven't watched Heard It Through the Grapevine yet! Watched part of the first episode but I don't think I was in the mood for it so I'll have to go back. And yes at the nulk if summer dramas not being flat out horrible but they were just dull, really. Like High Society is something that should by all accounts have been good but it was...so dull. Like you watch some of these shows on autopilot lol. But for the most part I found many dramas that were to my taste and even the ones I couldn't really get into like Healer and Heart to Heart, I still finished so I think I'm like you. Plus I still have more to go. I've yet to watch Producers and I dunno if I'll ever watch Pinnochio but I hear good things about both so ya know. I think next year is looking like it will start off strong and there are some fall dramas I am looking forward to as well. And I'm looking forward to binging on Oh My Ghostess, haha.
