Lee Guk Joo addresses rumors that she and BTS’s Jin are dating



Comedian Lee Guk Joo, who was previously rumored to be dating an idol, has finally addressed it publicly on a recent episode of Radio Star.

On July 22nd, Lee Guk Joo, Hong Suk Chun, AOA‘s Jimin and MONSTA X‘s Jooheon appeared on the episode as guests.
Lee Guk Joo explained that comedian Jo Se Ho, who had never seen her boyfriend, joked in public that Lee Guk Joo was dating a handsome idol trainee. But the rumors continued when netizens found out that Lee Guk Joo and BTS‘s Jin were close. Additionally, BTS’s Jin had also previously revealed that his ideal girlfriend would be a little chubbier. Thus, the rumors that Lee Guk Joo had dated Jin in the past began to spread.

Hong Suk Chun then spoke that he had seen Lee Guk Joo’s boyfriend and he was nothing like BTS’s Jin.
Lee Guk Joo had brought many laughter on this episode of Radio Star, and she also just recently starred as a guest on SBS‘s Running Man.

It depends on when this couple were rumored to have dated, if it was before Jin was a legal adult, that would explain why "obviously" it couldn't be Jin.

i did laugh when she said "the entire time people were calling me fat but when they decide that jin and i have dated suddenly i become 'chubby' according to them! what is that?"

i liked this episode over all sans that nugu trying his hardest to be embarrassing. hong suk chun also talked about how he wants to have a wedding just to get back all the money he's given out at other people's weddings and i kinda really want to see it happen now - i think it'd be amazing

well yeah usually you try not to mention it as long as possible because if you do there might be backlash and she actually could've been blamed "for clarifying rumors that didn't even exist for attention"

i guess she decided radio star was the place and the right timing to do it but you can't say she was feeding off the rumors just because she never talked about it till now. feeding off rumors would be like hinting that they did date or flaunting their friendship and possibility that they did date in front of his fans - she just didn't acknowledge the rumors.

i don't even know when this 6 years ago came from? only thing she said was that she dated this guy who was 6 years younger than him for about 2 years and that he's an ex-trainee. if anything she also talked about how she had this huge crush on this news anchor 6 years ago so the date doesn't even fit.
