Okay, I just discovered who Vernon is and he's cute and endearing like the little brother I've always wanted. What's the age limit for SMTM anyway? Isn't he too young and unseasoned to participate? Props to him for braving through the auditions, surely he knows what he's up against.
Idk about that age thing, they seemed to have a lot of hs people during auditions, so... Vernon is only year younger than Oltii was last edition but Oltii is so tank-like that nobody would thought of protecting him lol
I think Vernon will be fine, ya'll...he seems pretty calm and focused. It's not like he started sobbing. He got it.
Liked seeing translations for everything. I was waiting to see Hanhae's and I like it even more now that I understand it, lol. A lot of people mentioned Mino using a slur but I didn't see it come up in the subs so I'm guessing it's a word that can be translated a bunch of different ways (meaning it doesn't really have an equivalent in English) or the other translator made a mistake. Either way, I can't help but feel that the Korean word may not have any connection to the marginilization of disabled peoples...unlike the English word that people were mentioning. But, I don't know.

But, I hope he does well as his first audition was much better.
Basick was cool. Glad he came out to do what he wants. So sad when the people you care about don't support you. Like wow, what a life. He ain't rusty though! Oh P-Type would have called out a lot of things. I think rather than being put under pressure he might have been too relaxed, but no one can say he sucks. Silver lining.

The word Mino used was 병신 (byung-shin) which is a curse word, so it was bleeped. It technically means "handicap." Offensively, it could mean retard, idiot, moron, dickhead, jerk, blockhead, etc. It's unfortunately a pretty common Korean curse word.
It was funny and embarrassing. Although, P-Type's elimination was deserved. Song Min Ho is alr starting to piss me off and I've seen better performances than his' so idk why he's that praised. And I thought the level was quite high actually, more interesting than last year....
it looks like the quality is higher than last season. I really liked basick's performance. I hope he does well like vasco did on smtm3 to keep living from music, if that's what he really wants.

Maybe. I know the hip hop unit along with chan performed at brand new day's vol 5. It was also announced last wk that the hip hop unit will be performing this coming Saturday at brand new day vol 7.
One is really good looking and raps well so I think I'm ready to back him in this competition. I'm still mad they didn't show Bewhy or the guy that's in the same crew as ollti and soda freestyle for the first audition. I like that tablo had to tell Andup what's up basically. Black Nut is crazy but he can rap. I wonder if he's acting crazy to get noticed or if he was always that way? Really liked Basick and that high school rapper - his bit about hongdae, lol. Jooheon and Minho were great too - maybe it's because they're idols but they look really good in motion and it definitely adds to their performance.

I'm a VIXX fan and I've become accustomed to his rapping - not saying I love it because that would be a lie - but he definitely did a lot worse than he normally does (his diss-but-not-a-diss was subpar too). I'm sad because I like his more witty/abstract lyrics but he went down the more obvious route, which Jung Sangsoo did too. There were def other issues with their performances but the fact that they didn't capitalize on their lyrical abilities is at the top of my list.

The only reason I judge Andup is for all the idol rappers to come for he has to go for the literal child, like look at your choices bro.
