I totally agree. And it's funny that lots of these "pedonoonas" then are the first ones criticizing girl groups' "uncle fans" when they're doing exactly the same. Like I said, hypocrisy at its finest tbh.
Yeah, and honestly I've never understood it because I always thought women would be much more aware and weirded out by younger guys. At least you know THAT much younger to the point where in some places they are considered minors. I've had people justify it to me that it would be legal in Korea and stuff and all of it just gives me the heebie jeebies I dunno. Maybe I'm too old now that I'm 26, and maybe I would have felt less weird about it when I was in my early twenties but man it's weird.

For me, I can't speak on it much because I am a straight male and so I know that anything I say on the subject is always downgraded with mansplaining and all that but I don't personally think it's wrong to thirst over anyone famous and legal as long as you're not 100 percent nasty about it? I dunno maybe it's because the few times I've had someone say something thirsty about me I take it as a compliment, and again there's no fear or excessive amount of cat calling that I, as a male, have ever and will ever experience. The situation is a lot different for me I get that, but thirsting over someone on the internet just feels like something we should laugh about? Like I don't get bent out of shape at the crazy shit people say about T.O.P, but if any guy talked about a girl like girls talk about T.O.P there would be, and in many cases is some serious backlash.

The reactions to the Rain/Krystal thing here were too exaggerated because yeah, I get that she's 12 years younger than him but at least she's legal and not even a teenager anymore since she's like 20-21, but Yeo Jin Goo was freaking 15 when he filmed that drama with the 23-24 y/o actress. How can people be more grossed out by a couple where despite the age gap BOTH are legal than by a couple where one of them is basically a child? Not to mention that people also complained about that drama in which Yoona (23-24 at that time) is paired with a 40 y/o guy but everyone was perfectly okay with "My Secret Love Affair" about a 46 y/o woman with a guy 20 years younger than her.
And I get what you're saying, because I've myself been cat called and I've got nasty sexual comment / groping from some guys and it's absolutely disgusting and vile, but at least I've immediately had people defending me / standing out for me while I've seen women in clubs groping guys' butts or pecking their lips without their consent and nobody bat an eyelash, they even laughed at it, when it's sexual harrassment too. I feel that the society is perfectly aware of the sexual abuse suffered by women and actively fighting against it for the most part, but they turn a blind eye towards the opposite because it's not as common or because they perceive that women can't be a threat for men since we're "weaker" or something. Idk the reason but it's really disgusting that people not only turns a blind eye to male rape, but even shame the victims if they dare to report because "a real man is supposed to enjoy any sexual contact with a woman". Like wtf. That reminds me that VIXX's N recently commented about how uncomfortable he felt when a female staff member started groping and rubbing his leg out of the blue and the guys on the same show were like: "but that's actually a good thing, I'd love to be touched by women like that" and it was disgusting because they kept perpetuating that stereotypes that guys are (or SHOULD be) obsessed with sex when not everyone is like that. Can I first and foremost say that as a straight male who has been groped and such in clubs I really appreciate that you even acknowledge that as a problem. I've never even gotten the chance to talk about it because even to me the issue isn't that big, and I know I'm more likely to be met with people finding it funny and or not a big deal. I've had all kinds of unwanted advances from females and other men and if it wasn't a guy I basically had to grin and bare it in most cases. I could tell my girlfriend if I was dating at the time and that's basically as far as it gets. I basically have to look at all of those moments as a "compliment" because letting myself get in my head about it would make me stress and then people would undoubtedly tell me I'm worried about nothing etc. So again thank you for realizing it's a problem. I think the problem is MUCH MORE SEVERE for women so I would never take that from them, but it's truly a problem on both sides, and unwanted advances should never be taken lightly in real life.

We're all people, we should ideally in a perfect world all be held to the same standards, now that is an unreasonable request and idea in 2015 but hopefully in time it's less so that way. Yeah, I've never denied that sexual harrassment/assault it's still much more common from men to women and that in general, men are more threatening to women than the other way around but I wish people start acknowledging that sexual harrassment/assault from women to men happens too (the most recent case being a guy drugged in a campus and taken advantage of by some female classmates), it's just that in the big majority of cases it's not even reported because the few times it's been reported the victims have basically been mocked and ridiculed even by the police and like I said there's this common misconception that men enjoy any type of sexual advance from women and if they don't they're not "real men" or some bullshit. I've myself called out some female friends who kept groping guys that looked clearly uncomfortable because I knew they weren't going to say anything for not being called stuck-up jerks or being mocked for not being "real men". I remember this guy that rejected one of my friends and she went like: "are you gay or something?" which it's incredibly rude and also homophobic as fuck. So I wish society at least start admiting that sexual assault IS a problem regardless of who's the perpetrator, and it's even more disgusting when the victim is a minor. In fact, I've always seen plenty of cases of female teachers fucking underaged male students and in most of cases they didn't even get a legit punishment. I can't even imagine how I'd feel if I was the mother of one of those kids and the pedophile didn't even get a proper sentence only because it's a male child and all males regardless if they're minors or adults are supposed to "enjoy" sex or people saying "oh, he's lucky to bang such a hot older woman". Revolting.
