TRANSLATION: Twitter - SUGA) Every time I work on music at night, I thnk about how making good music is such a tiring/hard working process. I’ll make you listen to better music from now on. I have so much music to present to you. -SUGA-

I couldn’t remember when and where I started music, but yesterday while working (producing music), a melody line I made when I was really little came to my mind. I can’t even remember how old I was, but my heart was pounding for the first time in so long.

I might have been even more absorbed in music because I wanted to be proud/honorable in front of my family and fans. Still, this is the only thing I’m good at and giving people joy with my music makes me so happy, since I was happy from music when I was little.

If these music tracks were to end after I was satisfied with it, they wouldn’t have existed. I feel like I know how making music that satisfies many people is a very difficult job, but sometimes I don’t.

My mixtape that should’ve been released with Namjoon has been pushed back because I wasn’t satisfied with myself. I have been working on albums, mixtapes and everything that comes across, but I still can’t seem to be satisfied. Because I might as well not do it if it’s not going to be perfect.

When I was working (producing music) while going through my old memories, I thought of how I was when I left my home six years ago. I feel like I haven’t looked around for things like friends and family. Social relationships have been someone else’s story a long time ago. My life feels a bit useless excluding the members and fans.

I wanted to tell these stories through music but since I feel limited about my abilities, I’m saying all sorts of things here. I just want to run for a long time without getting tired; for ten years and twenty years.

I can’t expect everyone to like us and I but we ran along with strong determination by making them like us, so we will go higher; so high that people can’t reach us.

Just, let’s be together for a long time without getting tired. Because even after ten years and twenty years, we won’t be tired.

I love these late night Twitter rambles that he does sometimes, every one reveals some new depth or aspect of his character. He's so interesting and unexpectedly (?) emotional. I hope he can be happy with his work and not neglect other aspects of his life in pursuit of perfecting his art. Sorry, this got all up in my feels, lol.

I know I complain about Suga not having a mixtape, but I would never want him to release something he wasn't proud of/satisfied with. I'm just happy to hear that it's still in the works AND that music still makes him happy.

RM said the same thing on 4Things though, idol life really doesn't lend to lyric writing bc they don't get to have a lot of the normal experiences other ppl their age would.

i read the tweets yesterday and i got emotional. this is something personal and from the heart and the fact that he's sharing this just... he is very hard on himself and i get that. putting your work out there for thousands and thousands of people to judge and criticize is terrifying. i hope one day he can be truly happy with what he puts out in the world. i know i am.

so precious.. it must be really hard to write lyrics about life experiences when you're an idol.
at the same time, all the hardships that he - and all idols - went through every day is something that we can't imagine. growing up away from your family and friends, 24h worried about what people might think of you and the risk that a single mistake/misunderstanding can put everything that your worked for out fo the window.

I just wish that he stays healthy and happy. he'll always have people that enjoy his work and music will always be a way for him to tell the things that he needs to. <3

yoongi is, hands down, one of the best persons i know. he gave me a reason to stan him (along with jungkook) when he sent out those gifts on his birthday last 2014 and he hasn't stopped since. being brave enough to share his thoughts and worries to us fans just endears him to me more than ever. <3
i hope he gets the satisfaction on his craft that he needs; i'm sure they would be wonderful because his heart would be in it.

See this is why I get pissed when Rap Lobster is represented as the producer of the band during shows and Suga is so pushed back when he is trying so hard...
If you look at BTS album tracklist what you will see is that where Rap Lobster put his hand Suga did too (they wrote their own raps). He also mentioned that he does mixing and sh*t but when you look at credits it's produced mostly by producer PDogg. Namjoon made an intro song I think? Suga produced a few BTS songs (at least 3) but they never make a big deal out of it as they do with Namjoon. As a Yoongi stan I feel angry.

I get the same feeling as well, from the outside you only hear about rapmon so when I first got into the group I was surprised by suga, at first it was a good surprise as I had now found a new favourite but now I just get annoyed everytime he's pushed aside.

I don't think it's right to pit them against each other, I think maybe they talk about rap monster more because he's the leader, but also because yoongi doesn't seem like the type to like a big fuss made about him he just does things quietly.

ppl who actually pay attention to BTS and BTS dynamics will know that Suga's contributions are not downplayed, if anything Yoongi's the type who always goes "me, me, me, my this, my that, my music, my composition, etc" while namjoon doesnt. my observation is that namjoon is good in 'hustling' in that he's good in making connections and he released his mixtape with good timing. yoongi's really talented and focused but i guess his perfectionism sometimes gets in the way, plus he's like a hermit, he doesnt like interacting with ppl that much.
that said, i wont say yoongi's one track mind is completely disadvantageous, cos his attention to detail gave us diverse tracks that successfully show off his members skills, from a haunting ballad like let me know, lyrically impressive tomorrow, to funky songs with a throwback feel like heungtan and jump.
