burgundy and raspberry shades look good on me, light pinks, corals and oranges look terrible on me (too pale)

Same! I really want to buy an orange lipstick, but I already know that it will look terrible on me, because I'm too pale! ;.;

I mostly wear nude or coral lipsticks, but lately I've grown tired of them. I want to try out dark red or burgundy, but I'm worried that these colours will look unnatural on me (because I've never worn them before).

What are crayons exactly? This stuff confuses me, because they look like lipsticks to me, just differently shaped. o.O

Haha...I see. ^.^ No problem.

That's a good idea. Innisfree has a burgundy lipgloss that I've been eyeing since forever. I like lipgloss more than lipsticks, so I'll try that one out. Lipliners are not my thing. I've tried using them, but I always end up looking like a clown. -.- Lipglosses are more my thing.

Thanks for the advice!

Lol I hate fuchsia or lipsticks that veer on purple. It reminds me of my aunt whom I can't quite stand. I love nudes and pale pinks but I think I look sick wearing those shades. I think neutral and coral tones suit me best. And I have a really small mouth which I hate (tbh I think that's why I didn't like Jessica's face when I first saw her lmao) so I think brighter/bolder colours will just draw attention to it? I dare not try red lipsticks.

I have 3 of those Etude lipsticks and they're terrible for dry lips lol. I love the colour though :-(

We are complete lipstick opposites haha!
I think you should still try red lipstick! I got to courage to do so only recently but it makes me feel awesome, you jst gotta commit to it! :)

Ugh, I have the bad habit of pulling at my lips too so they're so dry and it makes many lipsticks look bad. I'm bee trying puttig healing gel that's really greasy on them at home/night though and it seems to be working

Etude's Dear My Wish lipsticks are much better than their Dear My Blooming line! I find the Blooming ones terribly drying, whereas the Wish ones are soooo moist while remaining ultra pigmented. They have almost all the same colours too!

Lately I'm really into Mac's Fresh Moroccan lipstick. I tried it on by curiosity because it's a rust/bronze color with gold shimmers, but it looked completely different (dark brick red) but really good on my lips. On the other hand, trying other colors that I thought would look fit with my skintone, ended looking terrible on me. So yeah, always try on before buying. Especially in my country, this shit is expensive.

Otherwise, I only have one lipstick: Estee Lauder's Hot Color in Hot Kiss Shimmer, which just look like my lips in two shades deeper. For real, one of my friend didn't even notice i was wearing lipstick cause it looked natural.

It sucks that I can't wear anything on the bright side like corals, orange or flashy reds. Light pink or nude colors are too pale for me, I look clownish. OTL

Unfortunately, bright pink is the only shade that suits me, but I stick to simple transparent lip balm usually because I'm kinda shy to wear bright lipstick to classes. =(

I just notice rn that pink undertoned red lipsticks look eh on me but surprisingly magenta/deep burgundy shades look okay.

I'm also very addicted to Mac's Amplified Cosmo rn. My MLBB and everyday lipstick atm and idt my heart will ever be set on another bullet ever again for an MLBB.

It's fascinating how lipstick shades work differently for each person. It depends on your skin tone, your hair colour, eyes colour, your style,...
I like how it can change my make up and strangely it emphasizes my eyes when I put bright colours.

I'm late but MAC's Russian Red is my current obsession. This shade of red goes with whatever eye make-up I do and clothes I wear. UD's super saturated high gloss in Punch Drunk is my favourite too. At first all I wear on lips are nudes/pink nudes but me friend and cousins influenced me to try out all these bright colours, and now I can't stop looking at them, keep wanting to buy morrre~

I don't wear makeup, I mainly wear chapstick only since I'm prone to licking my lips a lot and rubbing it off in the process when I wipe my spit off with my hand lol

Mine have to be bright red or pink, and absolutely nothing with purple or mauve tones pls.

I'm currently running through MAC Relentlessly Red,which is actually pink. But it looks great on me and fresher than red.

i think i look good with pinks and oranges. reds aren't bad, either. purples can be iffy depending on how dark they are, but i wore one a while back that was really nice.
my favorite one right now is femme couture's hydrating matte lip color (http://www.sallybeauty.com/femme-matte-lip/FEMME66,default,pd.html) in flirty flamingo. the shade is really vibrant and lasts almost all day for me. i also like nyx's slim lip pencil in hot pink.

Pinks and reds look off on me since I have more of a mocha/caramel kind of skin tone so I mostly stick to vampy colors or earthy tones more than bold colors depending on my outfit or mood. I'm obsessed with MAC's Heroine, Sin, and Cyber, and I've been using Ruby Woo too but mostly just the lipliner. One lipstick I HAVE to recommend is Lime Crime's Salem, even though Doe Deere is a shitty individual and the brown color looks weird on lighter shades of skin it's gorgeously pigmented and it doesn't come off unless you literally scrub the shit out of your lips. I've been wanting to get some lipsticks from Melt Cosmetics but I hate online shopping.

Solji's lips are one of the most pretty pairs besides Sunghee and Sunny.

I love all colours except browns and oranges, but lately I'm really into reds like the Etude House one she used.

I like corals and peachy colors! But I get sad whenever I come across a pretty, light shade because my lips are pigmented.
