JYJ Park Yoo Chun will be enlisting in August.
C-JeS Entertainment confirmed to Star News on the afternoon of May 31, “Park Yoo Chun will be focusing on his military duties starting August 27.”
“Other than that, we don’t know any specific details, so it’s hard to say anything.”
Park Yoo Chun, who just recently wrapped up the drama “The Girl Who Sees Smells”, will be the second member of JYJ to enlist this year, following member Kim Jaejoong.

They had to announce it since at today's fanmeet, Seol Kyung Kyu had let it slip that Chun would attend his film premiere before the 27th. T_T Happier news: Junsu went to visit Jae while Chun spent like 30 minutes on the phone with him.

It's sad but I think it's better that they enlist fairly close to each other that way we won't have to wait to long for them to be back as JYJ.
At least we will have Chun's film to look forward to later on this year.

Date: 2015-05-31 02:21 pm (UTC)I am less okay with this than I was with Jae leaving, tbh. Even though Jaejoong is gone--we still get to see him and hear about him pretty often. Chun is already such a caveman, I feel like we won't see him at all for the next 2 years T___T And that's not ok.
At least we know this 2 year break will be good for him. He'll have time to relax and since he's public service he can go home everyday and just spend some good quality time with his family.
I am also so excited about him having a bigger role in Lucid Dream. I almost started screaming when I read he was going to be in it. Because HyeJung? Go Soo? A horror/thriller movie? That is the stuff of my dreams. I can't wait to see it, I'm sure he'll be just as brilliant in it as he was in Haemoo.
