I'm a bit bitter, because this version is good (not awesome! but good, maybe I was expecting a "rocker" version) but the original Joker isn't. Now I see that the song had potential.

I was surprised too but then I read that he and Jonghun talked to Subin on Hello Counsellor about how they self-produced their own title songs and Jonghun suggested that he and her should collaborate. And Hongki bet him to it lmao
