Exo’s Xiumin committed the perfect crime. With excellent acting skills, he tricked ‘Crime Scene 2′’s sharp cast members and became the winner of 4 million won.
The ‘Murder On A Studded Cruise’ that aired on the 13th on JTBC pitted the members in a deductive battle. Yoo Gihwan, who was the first mate on Center Cruise, was found in an underground storage room shot to death; Captain Hong (Hong Jinho), Jang Seafarer (Jang Dongmin), Ha Crewmember (Hani), Park Jazz (Park Jiyoon), and Xi Manager (Xiumin) became the prime suspects. Jang Jin was the detective for this case.
Because all suspects carried some resentment for Yoo Gihwan, it was especially difficult to find the criminal with first impressions and speculation alone. In the middle of this, however, Jang Seafarer who carried strong resentment for First Mate Yoo Gihwan and also safeguarded the ship’s gun was deemed the most suspicious.
However, Detective Jang Jin had a different opinion. With sharp reasoning, Detective Jang Jin concluded “Someone else could have stolen the bullets out of the gun that Jang Seafarer safeguards and killed Yoo Gihwan with a different gun” and chose Xi Manager as the criminal. However, all the other suspects had already decided Jang Seafarer as the criminal. As well, whenever evidence was discovered that was unfavorable to his position, Xiumin looked clueless and expressed his chagrin, making articulate claims to throw the suspicion onto others. Detective Jang Jin failed to convince the other suspects, and Jang Seafarer who received 4 votes was put into the cell.
But in the end, Detective Jang Jin was correct. Xi Manager was the criminal. Xi Manager, discontent with the way he was treated as someone inferior by his high school alumni, committed the crime. With exceptional acting and his poker face, Xiumin tricked the other cast members.
Though he showed off excellent acting and deductive skills on the last episode, Xiumin was correctly chosen as the criminal on last week’s ‘Murder At An Entertainment Company’; on this episode, he was able to demonstrate his worth. Without being overwhelmed by the other ‘veteran investigators’, Xiumin who showed great skill makes us anticipate his next appearance.

JTBC’s investigative game show ‘Crime Scene 2′ has achieved consecutive increases in ratings for three weeks straight.
Last week, ‘Crime Scene 2′s’ sixth episode which aired on the 13th (by Nielsen Korea’s standards) averaged a total rating of 1.7%, their best rating yet. The show has earned a consistent increase in ratings with the third episode averaging a rating of 1.3%, its fourth episode 1.4%, and its fifth episode 1.6%. Its best rating per minute was as high as 2.3%.

hani's screaming at the guns + random dialect had me in fits, she's getting so good.
also i didn't recognise ns yoonji in the preview - just not familiar with her face yet - and even if i didn't watch series 1 i'm always happy to see previous cast members brought back

They're very motivated to find new clues, even if they're not as sharp as Hong Jin Ho (who's my favorite too for deductions) or Park Ji Yoon. He was pretty sharp in his first episode though and contributed some good deductions - the only episode where he wasn't the criminal.

he did pretty well for his first solo variety appearance. still a bit quiet and barely there sometimes, but he's warming up. congrats~
for some reason, i still can't get into this show even for hani alone. it might have to do with jdm. i will miss those 0.0001 second of xiuhani moments.

Date: 2015-05-18 01:06 am (UTC)This is shocking coming from me, but it would have been nice if he stayed on the show and became a fixed member. I truly enjoyed seeing him on there and he fits in really well with the cast. I'm excited for next week's episode though, NS-Yoonji and Minhyuk are back!
