Super Junior’s Yesung Officially Discharged from the Military One Day Early

It has been revealed that Super Junior’s Yesung has finally been discharged from his military service and will soon be returning to the stage.

According to SM Entertainment on May 4, Yesung completed his two years of military service as a public service officer on this day. His official discharge date was originally set for May 5. However, as May 5 is Children’s Day, which is a national holiday, he was released a day earlier than planned.

The Super Junior member was discharged quietly and did not hold any kind of special ceremony.

Yesung’s first comeback stage will take place through Super Junior-K.R.Y.’s upcoming tour in Japan starting on June 2.

Meanwhile, Yesung enlisted in the military on May 6, 2013.

Since I started liking kpop in 2008, all of these army enlistings are going way too fast. Like- everyone keeps crying about their idols enlisting and I'm like meh, you'll blink once and they're out.
I swear, where does time go.

I remember this actually, but there have been multiple rumours about him debuting solo. One of them was that he would release a single whilst in the army but that obviously never happened. So I guess we'll see what happens in June. Either way, I'm so hft because his voice is heaven! *O*

IMO SuJu's sound has been seriously lacking his voice and I missed Yesung like cray on the majority of the songs on the Mamacita album (Raining Spell for Love, This Is Love - I'm getting goosebumps just thinking about it).

I'm looking forward to hearing his voice again. His singing never fails to give me feels, especially in All My Heart.

Like people can say whatever about Yesung's looks and personality but his voice is really the highlight of SuJu's music. Then again, I think his voice is used as the base for majority of their songs, right?

I am so eager to hear which parts Yesung will get in their recent songs. For some strange reason, I can actually picture which lines were supposed to be his. So eager to hear him sing again! XD
