1. Oh Ji Ho

The Maids actor had his heart broken twice! He waited five years to date his first love, but she cheated on him a month into the relationship. The second lady Oh was deeply in love with broke up with him. It was reported by media outlets that his girlfriend didn't want to hinder his career.

Unfortunately, she committed suicide shortly after the breakup.


2. Lee Tae Sung

The Playful Kiss actor secretly registered his marriage and son's birth in 2011. A year later, the whole world learned about his sweet family and his plans to hold an elaborate wedding ceremony.

After Lee enlisted in the army, everything changed. The ceremony was postponed. The couple mutually agreed to divorce in February, and he received custody of their child. Their inability to communicate and clashing personalities were the reasons for their separation, his rep confirmed to Daily Sports.


3. Myung Se Bin

Two years after her role on the romantic series Wedding, Myung married lawyer Gang Ho Sung in the Sheraton Walkerhill Hotel in August of 2007. Their union quickly ended when the pair divorced five months later. The Kill Me, Heal Me actress and her ex-husband released a joint statement citing the reasons for their split were different life views, personalities, and careers.


4. Choi Ji Woo

In the early 2000s, Choi was rumored to be dating her Winter Sonata co-star Bae Yong Jun, but it didn't work out in the end. In 2007, she met Lee Jin Wook on the set of Air City. They dated for three years before excessive media attention put a strain on their relationship. In December 2011, she told SBS's Healing Camp that she was lonely and never wanted to go public with her relationship again.

“I’m very lonely these days and want to be in love. I don’t mind if the guy works in the entertainment industry, but I never want to go public with my relationship again.”


5. Jang Na Ra

In 2012, the Mr.Baek star's farewell kiss with her boyfriend kept him in her mind for quite a while. On SBS's Strong Heart, Jang said the following about her breakup: "Instead of saying our farewells to each other, my ex-boyfriend and I locked lips when we broke up. I regret it since it makes me think of him more often."

The one who suffered the most was Lee Ji Ah, twice.

Lee Ji ah met her ex-husband Seo Taiji when she was 16 at the time. The two then later started to live together in the utmost secrecy and got married, a time period during which she isolated herself and cut off contact with people she loved to protect her secret with the famous singer. She cut contact with her family for 7 years! Cut contact with all her friends and lived in america all alone, while Seo Taiji promoted in Korea and pretended to be single. She was a teen. The poor girl was manipulated by Taiji tbh, he is 10 years older and she was so young when they met.

Their marriage was found out just after they were apart and divorcing.

At the time this scandal happened, she was dating actor Jung Woo Sung, and because the news was so big, they ended breaking up. People were saying she was after Taiji's money and two timing Jung Woo.

Jung Woo threw her under the bus, because of his image. Jung Woo sung never explained anything, and played the victim saying he didn't know about LJA past. Because of this everybody started to hate Lee Ji Ah, saying she was two timing - she wasn't, she was already divorced for about 2 years, just was fighting her rights in court, she turned the nation's bitch after this.. because everybody felt bad about Jung Woo being used and lied to. Then after a year, Jung woo finally opened up and said he knew about her marriage to Taiji since the start and felt bad for LJA. He is a douche tbh, he let her receive hate from everyody for almost a year - she was all alone and her career done.

meh lee ji ah also had a bigger issue of lying about her grandpa being some well-established gentleman with a lot of power and etc when in reality he was on the list of pro-japanese politicians that need to be ousted.

seotaiji is just as shady when it comes to the relationship between the two of them but the way lee ji ah tackled the issue with media play just backfired against her - the fact that seotaiji's also a descendant of civil activists for korean independence during japan annexation period didn't help her.

So they used her grandpa past to hate on her? Still not her fault imo. As for media play, I don't really remember, I remember Taiji making it seem she was some gold digger and he said he was innocent.

uhhhhh it IS her fault when she pulls media play bullshit making her out to be from some prestigious family when in reality the wealth her family obtained (and she benefited from) is by sucking up to japan in the times of annexation. it's a slap in the face for koreans who's still very pissed about pro-japan influence prevailing all over the country.

it was during the divorce scandal when her side let out some articles claiming that the lawsuit isn't for money since she's from a rich family who sold silk and contributed their profits to public education etc and that because her family was so wealthy lee ji ah grew up in a happy, safe environment etc. all that bs except they found out her grandpa is one of 55 people who were listed as severe traitor to the country who bribed japan.

uh that suicide incident with oh ji ho's girlfriend was lot shadier actually - she was a night club hostess whom oh ji ho approached first and after she committed suicide he denied their relationship at first (until he was outed, then he admitted that it was true) and he didn't even attend her funeral.
