JYJ Kim Jaejoong to Release New Songs While in the Army

Good news for JYJ fans: Kim Jaejoong has revealed that he will still be releasing songs while in the army.

On March 28, Kim Jaejoong wrapped up day one of his concert, “2015 KIM JAE JOONG CONCERT IN SEOUL-The Beginning of The End,” the last event with his fans before his army enlistment on March 31. During the show, he delivered the good news of his upcoming songs.

“Today’s vibes are great. The dress code for the show was vacation. I thank everyone for coming to my show,” he said after performing his first song.

He added, “Honestly, I’m still not sure how to react to this stage since it will be my last concert before joining the army. However, I do know that we shouldn’t be sad. That’s why I prepared bright songs we could dance along to, rather than depressing tunes.”

“I’ve prepared two new songs for today. These songs are the worst out of the pot because I need to make sure you’ll like the songs released while I’m in the army,” Kim Jaejoong said, indirectly revealing that he would continue his music career even when in the army.

The second run of Kim Jaejoong’s concert is March 29, where he plans to spend intimate time with his fans for the last time.

I believe he is enlisting active duty - and he already recorded the music so if CJES releases it, as long as he's not promoting, then there shouldn't be a problem (this is how I understand it at least)

Also: I'm going to miss him - I watched fancams of both days and I'M NOT READY!!!

I always wondered why more artists don't do this as it's a good way to stay relevant?

Because when it comes down to it you are investing a lot of money into a gamble that may not pay off. Jaejoong can be secure in his fanbase purchasing a solid amount of CD's but many artists (or I should say their companies) may not think it to be worth it considering there will be no proper promotions.

JYJ's case is obviously a bit different seeing as they are practically relying on their fanbase with no promotions normally anyway.

Not everyone has a fandom as dedicated as him; I think only big names could do it

Not to mention not every compagny would want that.
Army time is usually used to push new groups because the older ones are basically dead but with JYJ it's a bit different, the fans would be just as excited when they get back even if they have already been there for more than 12 years.
The same can't be said about other groups

during the concert he talked about how he barely got a day's rest after spy filming was over and that he got really drunk then lmao - after that i believe he spent like 6 or 9 days recording 16 songs? i'm so amazed ;; bless his soul~ i hope he serves well and comes back a better person..

on a side note, the fancams from his concert are killing me orz
