C-JeS Entertainment reveals Jaejoong wishes for quiet enlistment

With less than a week left remaining until Jaejoong officially bids farewell to the public, C-JeS Entertainment has released a statement on the artist’s behalf regarding his enlistment.

According to the agency on March 25th, they revealed that the JYJ member had requested that there be no media coverage on his entrance into the army as he enlists next week. Similarly, Super Junior‘s Shindong, who enlisted on the 24th, had requested a quiet entrance as well.

“Kim Jaejoong has strongly expressed his wishes to enter the military quietly, so as his agency will respect this,” said the agency, further revealing that his entrance will be a private event away from the media.

Just recently, the singer-actor participated in a fan meet with Japan fans alongside cast members of Triangle, where he was so touched by fans own farewells and wishes for him to return soon that he openly showed his tears.

Prior to his enlistment, Jaejoong will be holding his last solo concert on March 28th and 29th at Korea University, where he will bid his fans a final goodbye.

Just glad that fans won't be at his send off. It'll be good for him to spend that time with family and close friends. 2 concerts only days before is already above and beyond.
Not to the mention his solo album that is soon to be released and perhaps some JYJ songs for Membership week.

i know :( :( :( all the recent jyj activities have been making feel so emotional - also that jaechun hug when yoochun came to visit jaejoong during spy after party oh god

joong needs to be reassured so much that although some fans may leave, many are going to stay and the members still love him and we all still love him it makes me all ;~~~; i understand joong's feelings though, i feel like that often as well.

I was at the Jparty in Yokohama and at that time we still thought it was his last Japanese activity, you've got no idea how much sobbing there was. Literally, an ocean of it. He cried, we cried... *hugs*

Yeah, he worries abou that, it was felt very strongly even back then. I guess this is a consequence of his biological mother leaving him, and there's little we can do except show him through our actions that we keep on supporting him. And of course some fans will leave, that's inevitable, but new will also come.

it's easily seen in his (sometime) overly affectionate actions towards his members - whether we talk about db5k time or jyj. i hope he can serve well and return a better person ;; i also hope that he realizes that it's ok to ask yoosu about coming to visit him (when he's working) or just for a get together - he often mentioned during spy filming how he was sad that he hadn't seen yoosu or contacted them for a while and i feel like just telling him that talk to them, they love you they wouldn't mind visiting you - but then again, i understand his apprehensiveness about this and just T-T i hope his mental health also gets better...

I don't think he's embarassed to ask his members to see him, he used to show up at Chun's home a lot so I doubt that is the problem. I think it's just that they're really busy with other stuff they're doing, so of course he misses them.

imo it's not that he's embarrassed per se but more like he's insecure and his insecurity then extends on to make him unsure about whether he should call up yoosu or not because he's busy and they're busy and he doesn't want to bother them just bc he's feeling a bit insecure about their relationship/friendship - but the thing is, he wouldn't really be bothering them if he just wants to meet up or something

But he said that if there's one thing he's 100% secure of it's his relationship with Chun and Su. He might be insecure about other stuff but definitely not the JYJ bond. I think it's just their busy schedules, 'cause usually they're working around the clock, even if we don't know it. Of course they take holidays, but still they're quite short, though Chun does tend to disappear like the yeti he is. xD

i probably haven't been in the fandom long enough so i apologize for any inaccuracies, and tbh from what i've seen and interpreted, i doubt jae's ~insecure~ about his relationship (i don't know a better word to use so i'm just going to stick with this) but it's just at moments, when he's not feeling well and is lonely (idk whether jae's openly said that he has/had depression or not but i've seen a lot of speculation about it) then he gets a bit unsure and doesn't know whether he should take the first step or not. ofc i could be completely wrong about this but this is just what i've interpreted from what all that i've seen (which is not nearly enough for the 11+ years of their careers)

No worries, I understand. Jae once said that he was in need of "evidence, even if I know it [how strong the JYJ bond and love is] in my heart". From what I have seen, Jae is one of those souls that need to part of something, belong somewhere, give and be surrounded by love. I think it was Chun who said that Jae loves unconditionally, and I guess his heart earns for the same in return, as in he needs some small reminder that he's loved just to confirm it or something like that. Finding out that his mother left him and then even had another family as did his father, must have shaken him quite a lot. I remember watching some sasaeng fancams of Jae going to Chun than Su for consollation around that time when it all blew up, in 2006.

I'm certain Chun and Su are also worried about fans leaving them, but since they didn't live through the same experiences Jae did, it is not as acute. Chun also had his bouts of depressions, some shared by Jae along the years, they're soulmates for a reason; Chun has just become better at hiding it after his father passed away.

oh i think i remember seeing gifs of su comforting jae and below in the caption it said that it was related to the time when the news about jae's family blew up. and that's what i wanted to say tbh, the way jae loves, he gives so much into it and expects the same amount in return, but the thing is that although he is getting the same amount in return by yoosu, they all have different ways of showing their love so maybe at times it doesn't match up with jae and he gets a bit lonely and sad.

i think how junsu managed to get nominated on the music show + how well jyj's wake me tonight did despite them not being able to promote in japan either (i saw recent comments by junsu about this) has certainly made junsu feel less afraid about fans leaving. i also knew about chun possibly having depression, although not as hard hitting - or well i don't think hard hitting is right to use, but i guess, the depression not affecting him in all the ways it affects jaejoong, they'll have similar effects, but not all of them are same.

Chun was known to have the worst depressions years and years ago. He and Jae used to be all emo-ish at times, writing dark songs together and stuff, and they'd also be the ones to cheer each other up. I think it's the more recent developments that have shaped Jae and Chun to be more open and closed off, respectively, in regards to their feelings and insecurities.

Su has also got his own moments, he used to lock himself in bathroom and angst in silence while lying on the bathroom counter, but he's a very optimistic person, who sees obstacles as challenges and he strives to excel in overcoming each one of them. All three of them are very tenatious and determined in these ragards, which is one of the reasons as to why they hadn't given up and are now where they are. Of course another reason is a very loyal fanbase, for which they have countless times thanked us for.

Yeah, Jaejoong does has abandonment issue and I agree that this is most probably a consequence of his biological mother giving him up for adoption. Can see that he's super affectionate and clingy to those he really traesures.

He has this huge insecurity that people will forget about him in the two year he's in service. He even prepared an album to be released somewhere around June.

I wonder what fans should do to make him assure that although some people left the fandom, others will stay.

I think I've been in denial until now. Seeing him get increasingly emotional over the last week is now really hitting me hard.

I imagine I wouldn't be so bitter about it if so many years of his career potential hadn't been stolen from him and JYJ.
The perseverance of these guys with all the shit they've been served... and now more years will be commandeered by the military.
