Bangtan (BTS) release teaser pictures taken in The Holocaust Memorial in Berlin

BTS posted teaser photos on Twitter recently, which is great! But, uh, then people recognized the location as the Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe in Berlin.

So … yeah that’s a bad idea. Like horrible. Pictures is one thing, but a fucking photoshoot, apparently for a photobook? Come on.

Anyway, after being inundated with tweets, BTS’s official Twitter finally took the pics down (which is why I don’t have all of them), but it’s a bit late for that anyway.

I trust I don’t have to explain the problem to oppa apologists here.

OP UPDATE:

A spokesperson of the Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe had previously commented on a similar situation:

"We only give permission to projects that have a connection to the memorial, the Holocaust or some aspect of commemoration."

This raised concern amoung fans that BigHit either didn't attempt to get permission or were denied and followed suit anyway.

It's also been noted by some that Rapmon had previously worn a hat that bears Nazi symbols (swastika, eagle, and skull). Specifically, the insignia of the SS, who were responsible for running the concentration camps all over Europe.

BigHit has yet to release an official statement.

Ive read differing opinions on this but overall i personally find it questionable.
Im not surprised intl ARMY went into full oppa didnt mean it mode.Theyve defended rapmons black english,n word, the teardrop tattoos,AHL's kidnapping bit.not surprised about this at all.

I've been there for a class trip once, and people take pictures there all the time, but this ...For a pictorial/photobook this is really really tasteless and I honestly don't think that they didn't know what place this was, since, when I remember correctly there are signs (in english toi I think).

Damn.....I did get kinda turned off of them due to Suga's messy ass but c'mon....how doesn't their management know about this. If anyone came into my country and made a photoshoot at the Potočari memorial, I'd be furious. It's disrespectful af. I can't really directly blame the boys but even they should have been smarter. What in the hell were they thinking?? Like really?? This is the most disrespectful thing I have ever seen. I have never understood what the point of shooting pictures in a graveyard. Its just horrible. This was a horrible idea from the company.

Can ya'll image if someone did this to something that was very important to Koreans, like on the same level. I'm sure they would be spiting fire.

They should redo the whole teaser pictures at an area that isn't a graveyard.

the neonazi concept of fritz (give me a break with the pritz romanization) was a bit more upsetting for me, i mean bts doesn't bring up nazi imagery... but this is disgusting, too. i'm wondering what could be worse. maybe if they put on armbands and pose in the same place, that would be worse.
in addition to all the above, i'm also pretty sure they didn't get a permit. it's clearly stated nearby that you have to get a permit for photoshoots.

Judging from their hair I think this was at the beginning of Danger promo which was quite a while ago. Idk I might be wrong though.
