how does the paparazzi thing work in korea? bc i feel like its not nearly as prevalent there as it is in the US and the UK. It seems like in the US there are always pictures of celebrities just walking around or outside their house or whatever but i feel like i hardly ever see pics of korean stars in comparison. its just like...every once in a while.
Honestly, Korea is so much smaller than both countries in terms of geography and industry as well. Plus, the area that celebrities inhabit is usually much smaller as well, they're more often than not based in gangnam. With all that in mind, I'd definitely say that the paparazzi is less prevalent on a day to day basis over there. They are probably worse at places like the airport though, given that airport fashion is a thing now. Saesangs more than make up for that though, they are sooooo crazy. It's like, which is the lesser of two evils?
Totally forgot about saesangs. I honestly think they're worse since they have 0 sense of consequences D: Although, they do hide a lot for their faves so who even knows what kind of stuff they're holding back.
The anonymity of sasaengs contrasted by the power they yield is truly terrifying. If I was a k-celeb, I'd definitely be disturbed by even the ones claiming to be fans and protecting me.
