I hope YG lets them go (if that's what they want) and a good company picks them up. Does Hongseok play any instruments? I would love for him to go solo and be like...a second Roy Kim or something. Not necessarily that music style (idek what genre he likes, I only watched performance cuts from M&M) but...idk I just feel like he'd work better solo than in a group.

also in all honesty i wonder how well hongseok would be going solo, bc i do see him more as part of a team. obv skewed since we had like nil great screentime for him, but i felt like he's the kind of person that tends to struggle to express much outwardly unless truly comfortable and he seemed to shine a lot more with interactions w/ others esp with someone as extroverted as bobby. his voice was an amazing bridge between junhwe and donghyuk/jinhwan and i will forever mourn that :( his situation sorta reminds me of when yg said seunghoon was 70% by himself but becomes 2x as good in a team. he just needs to find the right team that is more towards his style.

i hope those rumors really don't follow jinhyeong, he has so many talents to offer :(

mte about hongseok being better in a group ! from what little we got to see of him it seemed like he was more on the quiet side and i'm glad that bobby was there to put him at ease. ☺ hopefully with a little more training and without the pressure of being filmed he could become more confident

I haven't been keeping up with netizens but I thought when the show debuted they were all for OT6+Chanwoo and these two weren't liked. Now all of a sudden they want JinSeok? The show just ended of course the focus would be on the ones who didn't make it. But for how long?

If YG doesn't offer them a chance to debut within the next few months they should leave. I'm still hoping he picks Jinhyeong. I can just hear the netizens now "ilJin really?" "Of course he'd pick the Iljin trash. He suits YG's color better."

lmao YG is fucking transparent. The only reason hes giving them a second thought is because of the supportive response they are getting. Otherwise they would have been kicked to the curb by now. And i honestly hope they don't stay because if they do they will be met with the same fate Supearls and Kim Eunbi was met.

If so I hope it's Jinhyeong as i don't think Hongseok will have hard time finding a new agency while those false rumors might hurt Jinhyeong's chances. Plus dancing never was Hongseok's forte, so maybe debuting in some ballad group might be better option for him. I wouldn't either be surprised if YG announced that Chanwoo has decided to become a full time YG actor after all instead of idol singer and they need to replace him.

I don't keep up with M&M, especially after the rollercoaster ride of emotions of WIN, but watched a few of their performances. It's been so obvious I suppose, who YG wanted in the line-up. Whether these 2 would stay or leave, just hope it's something that would make them happy in the long run.

These comments...prior to MAM they trained two months and two weeks so this was an amazing opportunity for them. Nothing was guarenteed and they were competing amongst the three for a spot and Chanwoo got the support and screentime from the rest. Where ever they go they'll require significant training as they were lacking on stage BUT they received significant exposure from the show and will likely get another opportunity

Jinhyeong has a chance in YG, more than Hongseok, considering he placed in the Japanese and YG Family votes and seemed to fit in so he might stay for Yedam's group

YG will probably recommend Hongseok to another agency as iKON didn't seem to be a good fit for him

Hongseok fans are very loud so them being in the comments doesn't surprise me. I'm still amazed he has stans considering his screentime until the last episode. I can admit his stans loudly dissing and putting down the rest of iKON, and Hayi, made me lose any interest in him

staying in yg would practically be a death sentence. he already has, or is planning to debut, 2 new boy groups so there's not going to be anything else for a loooong time. and they wont have a must-debut contract like akmu/leehi.

Hope they both manage to debut somewhere in the future. It'll be a shame if Jinhyeong leaves for another company as I feel like he's really comfortable at YG. Ahhhh he would have been so perfect in iKON. He and Chanwoo were bros and all the other iKON boys got along really well with him too. Also, Japan already loves him and international fans adore him. Wake up, YG! This kid is a gem!

Anyway i'll support iKON no matter what, and Jinhyeong too wherever he goes. He's one to look out for.
