LOL, not even for Bangtan could I shed that kind of money. Unless I'm living it large, and I've paid off mine and my parents debts, and I live in a two story house (with one room entirely dedicated to bangtankpop), only THEN would I shell out that kind of money guilt-free. Until then, I'll just stick with buying the dvds of their concerts. :3

XDD I can't sis! Not unless they come right to my state. I'd be spending 2 or 300 just for travel and hotel expenses. Granted....if they come to Florida, or within one state of Georgia, then all bets are off. It was obviously meant to be, that I go to their concert.

I heard the KSFF tix are gonna be around $40..? if so I definitely want to see GsD (SOJIN NOONAAAAA)

I have no idea what KSFF is like + there's not much info on the FB page so far so don't quote me on that haha. maybe it's $40 for general entry to the convention and the gigs (showcase length?) are priced separately?

I spent nearly $300 to watch Nine Muses perform like 5 songs at the countdown gig (I BLAME RAIN!! and we didn't even stay for Rain u_u) but spent $0 for Spica at the Music Matters Live festival.. more free festivals and less overpriced concerts plz :(

did you see the TNP report on the KWave refunds recently? those who bought from Sistic got full refunds, but those who bought directly from Fatfish got like 2% back or something?? one woman who paid $400 received an $8 refund... like :||| let Sistic keep its monopoly if it means customers are assured of full refunds in the case of cancellation.

I might not have done the exchange rates right, but the ticket prices didn't seem extraordinary high? Similar to some US kpop concerts

Tho if they are ridiculous, what are they playing at charging so much for a rookie group?Popular or not

ugh $288 is steep even for sg man esp considering it's bangtan's first time here. the most expensive cat for ph is just slightly over 200 bux and for bkk it's more than $100 cheaper than sg wtf. i'm so unimpressed. iirc B.A.P's LOE which was held at the same venue was still under $200 for the highest cat so i dont understand why i have to cut off my entire leg just to get the best seats in the hse for bangtan sigh :<
i'm not completely ruling out going though cos bangtan is one of the groups i really want to see live and i dont mean to be pessimistic but at the rate kpop is going i doubt recent groups will last v long anymore so this might be my only chance sigh
is there anyone here who would probably STILL go for the sg one???? (and get the better cat tix)

Date: 2014-10-16 05:33 am (UTC)
From: [identity profile] polaroidsho-ts.livejournal.com
yeah i saw that BAP 2014 was like $248 for the highest cat right? still, being ard $250 is so much different compared to being ard $300, as you pointed out. and this is bangtan's first time too, i expected some leniency in terms of pricing sigh.

i feel sorry for all the young sec school girls or sthn like how the hell will they afford this?????? then again some will probably be fortunate enough to get sponsored by their parents - in which case i feel sorry for those parents lol - while i will probably have to fork out my own money for this is if i decide to go.......... not cool man

anw thanks for the deets babe omg i've been saying from last year that b1a4 is that one group i really really wanna see and they need to come back since it's been a while since they were last here (and i missed that one sobs) sad it isnt for a ful-fledged concert but I'LL TAKE WHAT I CAN GET hahahah do you know when full details will be out and the line-up confirmed an all?

From: [identity profile] polaroidsho-ts.livejournal.com
yeah ikr! i rmb before tix prices were released and all, there were just a lot of tweets begging for the ticket sales to start only in november or sthn lol. those fans are probably in their heyday rn, while i feel like i've passed my prime as an intense hardcore fangirl........

like idk but i just feel like it's a lot harder for me to just throw money away now that i'm actually earning a little on my own and having to support myself yknow? the value of money just seems so much more meaningful as you get older i suppose. like kids in sch probably just have to focus on saving up for this one thing but i've also got bills and transport and uni fees and just LIFE to cover lol so spending 300 bucks for a concert that deviates away from my usual expenses is not an easy decision to make :< props to your sis though, i never had that much discipline back when i was in sec sch OTL.

and thanks i will!!! the organizers seem like such a tease tho lol i wish they'd just release it alrdy it's only like slightly more than a month away???? ;~;

Date: 2014-10-17 03:17 pm (UTC)
From: [identity profile] polaroidsho-ts.livejournal.com
yes i've seen it!!!! mad excited omg. so going eventho it's like during my exam period OTL are you getting the VIP tix then?? i cant decide if i really /need/ to shell out extra for the hi-5 session & soundcheck party cos i swear im damn happy just to be able to see them alrdy ;~; also i have a feeling the soundcheck (a.k.a rehearsal) wil probably be pretty short....... but knowing b1a4 they'd be super cute i bet UGH THIS DILEMMA T^Talso i'm still holding out for their solo concert whenever that'll be - i'll definitely be front row mosh pit for that creys

the two-day passes are super worth it actually, it's like watching two showcases/concerts for the price of one???? /ahem looking at you bangtan trb/ + all the extra perks too *o* would totally get that if i was as invested in girls' day.

i say just sneak your sister out for this haha bad influence orz but foreal would your parents probably say no if y'all asked for permission in advance?

i'm personally leaning more towards the premium/superior tix just cause call me delusional but i kinda wanna save my all-out crazy b1a4 fangirl mode for when they're actually here for their solo concert ugh wm make this happen plsplspls T^T also b1a4's my #1 but a part of me still really wants to go for bangtan (tho prob not cat 1) sigh idkidk i'm so confused )':

anw lmk what you decide on when you've bought the tix! i only know my sis who's also into b1a4 so it's nice having a little solidarity here :3

Lucky girl! I got myself the Premium tix but I'm happy enough with that anyway (': Hope details for the soundcheck come out soon though. Did you get tickets for your sis as well?

You're not going for TRB anymore tho right?? I feel like kicking myself in the head cuz I was following seoul trb updates and the setlist is killing me ugh liek freaking CYPHER also extended version of vocal line's Propose and So 4 More and and v's hair and this performance (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DVT085CAG1s) ;~;

I........ think im gonna have to go creys sigh havent got anyone to go with though cos i doubt any of my friends are that keen on them /:

How these young sec school girls can afford it? I made a friend while queuing for TLP merch with a mum. She bought her daughter standing ticket (while me a working adult bought the $182 ticket). My reaction was in between "this mum is so sweet supporting her daughter's interest" but at the same time... 'yeah ok'.

I was expecting tickets to be, well erm a bit ~cheaper~ for TRB SG (and it's at a small venue) but who am I kidding. This is a K-Pop concert after all. And I thought TLP would be the only concert I'd attend this year. I love these boys but the announcement came suddenly and honestly I'm not that excited for it yet. Well hopefully when I decide to get tickets, it'll still be available.

And who are these organisers? I have no clue who they are. I'm quite wary of small organisers who brings K-Pop concerts to SG.

K-Pop tickets price in Singapore is daylight robbery. This is why I told myself that EXO's TLP will be the only concert I would attend this year. :\

those prices are pretty standard here. these organisers are ripping us off and all the fangirls are just lapping it up ;_;

Why are ticket prices for KPOP acts perpetually sky high in SG. Anyway I'm glad I'm only a casual fan so... I don't feel compelled to attend it, not while I'm so broke.

From: [identity profile] vanhangels.livejournal.com
Bringing in Kpop acts means they'll have to bring the band, their stylist and their manager (and sometimes dancers) and that means airline tickets, extra baggage, food and hotels. And sometimes they also rent out studios for them to practice, etc...

Even if I had an extra $300 to spend, it wouldn't go for some kpop tickets. But for those willing to shell it out, have fun.
