Cantabile Tomorrow's first script reading!

The most anticipated drama of 2014 is KBS 2TV "Cantabile Tomorrow".

The first script reading session was held at the KBS hall on the 23rd last month. Department of Drama director Moon Bo-hyeon, director of Group Eight Lee Byeong-joon, producer Han Sang-woo, writer Shin Jae-won and the cast Joo Won, Sim Eun-kyeong, Baek Yoon-sik, Ko Kyeong-pyo,Park Bo-geom, Lee Byeong-joon, Ahn Kil-kang, Ye Ji-won, Nam Goong-yeon and others were there.

The session was so intense and concentrated as the characters synchronized 200% with the actors and actresses.

Joo Won, Sim Eun-kyeong, Ko Kyeong-pyo and the other younger casts were so well prepared with their character analysis and pre-prepping. They picked out the appeal each one had and read through the script like water.

Joo Won had been working on his character, commanding, practicing the violin and piano ever since he decided he was going through with the drama. He had become Cha Yoo-jin, a proud and cold but genius music student. Joo Won's eyes revealed how much effort he had put on it.

Seol Nae-il, played by Sim Eun-kyeong is a carefree pianist but random and clumsy. Sim Eun-kyeong's uniqueness drew all the attention there was and even the seniors appraised her for her work.

Joo Won and Sim Eun-kyeong seem very different but the two of them collaborated well and made everyone laugh.

Ko Kyeong-pyo in the role of Yoo Il-lak, 'G-Dragon of classics' showed his existence with his one and only performance. Park Bo-geom attended the reading session although there was no part for him on this day and monitored everyone's performance.

Baek Yoon-sik, Lee Byeong-joon, Ahn Kil-kang, Ye Ji-won, Nam Goong-yeon and other veterans of course, didn't let anyone down with their detailed and emotional performances. The teamwork displayed on this day made expectations for the drama rise.

Director of the Drama Department Moon Bo-hyeon said, "Cantabile Tomorrow" is a very highly anticipated drama and the casting is outstanding as well. We hope for the best".

Joo Won said, "I remember enjoying the comic book. Cha Yoo-jin is very attaching to me. I can't wait for the first filming session".

Based on the Japanese comic "Nodame Cantabile", "Cantabile Tomorrow" is about youths with the passion for class music. To be on air in mid-October.

My goodness, Joo Won looks soooo good. :DD

I still can't imagine Joo Won & Sim Eunkyeong having a chemistry together but I hope it will change when the drama start airing. Despite Joo Won has amazing acting skills, he usually didnt have mad chemistry with his female co-stars unlike the chemistry he had with his male co-stars. Its funny really but that's what I always felt when I watched his dramas.

Not expecting this drama to be as perfect as Fated to Love You remake but I'm really hope the script can give the drama a justice! (*,*;; I'm really looking forward to this!

The Fated to Love You remake is indeed all kinds of awesome, they wrote Jang Nara's character to be much more real and of course her acting is great - so I feel that's what really trumped the Taiwanese version for me

I havent watch the T-version yet but the drama is all around awesome for me since it has become one of my very fave dramas ever. For someone who hate k-romcom in general, the fact that it drives me crazy every week proved how great are the script and the acting.

Jang Hyuk definitely one of the finest and most versatile k-actor working in Korea today. Yeah, we all know he is great from Chuno or DRT but the fact that he can be utterly hilarious and nailed all the funny and heartbreaking scenes are just amazing. And this drama is definitely Jang Nara's best work to date -- watching her gracefully on screen is really a beautiful sight! Gahhh I love the drama so much. Can't believe its ending this week. :'('''
